This manual Rack and Pinion is a good quality item sold at a reasonable price but the "for Ford Festiva" is a little misleading. When this rack arrived I made the mistake of assuming it would fit my 1992 Ford Festiva right out of the box. After installing it I discovered that I could not adjust the toe correctly because the inner tie rod ends that came on the rack were the longer ones which are needed for the Ford Aspire. To fix the problem the Aspire tie rod ends had to be replaced with the shorter Festiva ends. If you have a Ford Aspire with manual steering this rack will fit right out of the box. Also the housing is the larger diameter aluminum one so if you are buying this to replace one of the smaller diameter steel racks that came on the 1988 and 1989 Festiva, in addition to replacing the inner tie rod ends, you will need to get the aluminum housing type brackets to attach it to the fire wall. After I notified the seller of the problem, they were very nice about it corrected the issue to my satisfaction.
