Great product
I use this on my camper rear bumper. It holds a lot of stuff. Kepler’s everything dry even during high driving wind and rain. It’s a pain to lock and unlock two padlocks but I feel my things are secure inside it. I would buy again.

Did some modifications, Can’t wait to use it.
I liked the Thule cargo box idea, except it was too expensive and is also mounted to its own hitch. I have a platform hitch attachment I keep in 24/7, and made mine to bolt to it from the inside, so I can remove it or put it on as needed. I also added trailer lights to it and reflectors, because it’s pretty big, and is partially in front of my suv tail lights. Quality seems really good and now I’m ready for winter!

low price, light weight, sturdy, self-closing lid
The only problem we found with this chest was that the lid won't stay open unless blocked or tied. Some kind of built-in mechanical feature to keep it open would be nice.

Perfect storage for TearDrop Camper
I bought a teardrop camper in the spring of 2019 and it just had a package tray for packing additional items. It was a real pain to tarp it down to make it weather proof and strap everything so it would all be there when I got to my destination. I spent most of the fall looking at storage boxes to fit in the tray. This was a little larger than the tray, so I removed the tray and used a sheet of MDF to bolt this down. First test was about a 600 mile trip, mostly interstate, but some county roads too. It holds an Igloo cube, a 7 gal water bottle and all the tools n stuff that you hope you never need, but better have if you do. Found out accidentally, that putting a cheap sleeping bag at the top kept the cooler cold an extra two days. All in all, it works exactly as I need it to...

Cargo bix
It seals weather tight really well.

Quality issues
It appears the lid is warped allowing a significant gap at each front corner. While it may still prevent water intrusion, it will certainly not stop dirt and dust. It is being returned. Unfortunate because it is a nice size box, quite study and would have worked for my outdoor application.

Weather proof, strong storage box
I use this on a small tailgate of my chicken coop trailer, to store the seed and feed and it's wonderful! It can be a little tricky opening & locking the latches if you have anything in your hands, but overall it's an excellent product that I know will last for years and will keep all the food inside dry & clean!

Lid not guaranteed to stay attached, rust, lid distortion
Chest is made of substantial plastics, but after a few months use (and storage outside in winter), there are a handful of real issues. First, and most important, the lid can come off unexpectedly. The long metal pin that holds the lid on (see photos) jostled back into the central support section completely out of the lid. We were able to pull it back out & through the lid only with luck, needle nose pliers, and pulling the lid into position. This will have to be watched. (The rod doesn't run all the way through the central support; instead, each side had its own rod.)The metal hasps are not terribly robust, okay, but they have rusted. You tell me, why would a company use rust-susceptible metals for an outdoor storage unit? Finally, the lid is slightly dished, and was so upon arrival. A puddle resides on the lid, doesn't drain off. Photo indicates that there's a curve, and while we haven't had any leakage, it doesn't give one a lot of confidence in the rest of the construction.Ultimately, for the price, the construction should have been better. Giving it a "3" because it's doing the trick, more or less, but we will be watching that lid pin VERY CAREFULLY, as that could be catastrophic.
