Good quality slicing set
I used the ones with the insulation grip. I soldered conductors as well and used a layer of glue lined heat shrink to seal and add additional support and strain relief.

Cheap and better than expected
Actually useful little set - if you use the correct tools. Found using the Aptiv metri-pack crimpers yielded best results - tight crimp and certainly as strong as the cable given non-scientific testing (ie. pull testing)As always spend money on the right tools and even things as cheap as these can be made to perform with reasonable results
