Regarding your inquiry, this sunscreen is not considered water resistant, and due to its inclusion of Calamine, it does have a zinc oxide component. Zinc Oxide and other ingredients are not added separately to this product, but Calamine itself is an ingredient that is made with Zinc Oxide, Ferric Oxide, Phenol, and Calcium Hydroxide. Cheers!

Thank you for your inquiry. This "mineral-based" sunscreen should be cleansed with OIL CLEANSER first for better cleansing. There are many PLANT-BASED, vegan-friendly, natural, and safe oil cleansers from our storefront, that even children can use as well. I have a 6-year-old baby boy and after using Mineral sunscreen or sunblock, I normally cleanse him with IUNIK oil cleanser first. Hope this helps.
