I own my own automotive detailing business and I use Meguiars products almost exclusively. I purchased this product because I am very familiar with Meguiars products and I was interested in saving a little money by utilizing this product as my primary wash shampoo. Seeing it has a dilution ratio of 400:1 it states that you only need 1oz. for every 5 gallons of water. Sounded amazing at first but here's what I've come to find: I never try any products on a customers vehicle for the first time. So, I decided my wifes vehicle would be the perfect specimen. I did not have a pump for a gallon sized container. They do not include one with the bottle but the directions state use 1oz. (one pump) for every 5 gallons of plain water. So, I used the cap of the bottle and started with just one cap full. Dumped it in the bucket and filled it up with about 4 gallons of water. At first I was excited to see that the bucket was full of suds. I began washing the tires/wheels, wheel wells down with my Meguiars professional line up wheel brightener and after about 5 minutes or so returned to my bucket filled with the hyper wash/water. It was still almost as sudsy looking as when I had first filled it. "Great", I thought. I rinsed off the vehicle and started washing with the product. I noticed immediately that something didn't feel right. The wash water felt "dry", it did not feel lubricated at all. My Meguiars 62 car wash shampoo and conditioner always not only looked sudsy but glided across the body panels excellently, with ease, as it should. I thought to myself, ok, maybe I didn't use enough of the hyper wash. Not wanting to take any chances, I decided to add two more whole cap fulls of solution to my bucket, swish it around and try again. Pretty much the same result. Excellent suds, excellent sud retention, but no lubricant feel to it. Needless to say I washed the entire vehicle top to bottom with the solution and I was very happy with the outcome. I just feel it needs more "glide" to it as it concerned me washing a vehicle without that real smooth feeling to it. Pros: Great initial suds and retention thereof. Ratio of product to water is cost efficient. Cons: This stuff is slimy, thin, and filmy. I am used to wash solutions being thicker and gooier. (I think this plays a role in the overall lubricity of the product). Being so runny this product pours out extremely quickly. They should have either made a better spout design for slower pour or, better yet, included the "pump" that was stated in the directions. I even searched the meguiars direct website and my local home depot & wal-mart for a pump for the container but my search yielded no results and wasted my time & gas. Overall, this product did do what it was described to do and performed satisfactory. It loses 1 star for 1. Not including a better means of dispensing the product than a wide mouth spout and 2. for it's overall feel of not having enough "goopiness" to it.

I bought this product because i really wanted a good conditioner for my details and for my personal vehicle and work chair. Experience - So before using this product I made sure to clean my chairs, i used a natural all purpose cleaner since my chairs were not extremely dirty and i didn't want to use heavy chemicals. After cleaning i dried it with a clean towel and waited about 5 minutes before applying the conditioner. I used maybe 2 squirts from a spray bottle (this products works really well in a spray bottle since it is water based) and it did extremely good covering the entire seat w/o leaving any streaks or that slippery feeling. I buffed the product with the other side of the towel and it left a nice dark silky look and even made my gaming chair look new again. I like how the seat felt hydrated and restored with very little product and effort. Overall - I am super pleased with this product and the performance it provided, i will continue to use this product for my future details. Once again Meguairs knocks it out the park with their products. PS - I will update again after i wait and see how long until i need to do another application

Great product. Punches above its weight. Would buy again. Added dispensing pumps to add product to pressure washing foam cannon.

Excellent value for the money. Very versatile, good cleaning power, lubricity, smell, suds and water softening agents. This mixed with gold class shampoo is my go to for working in direct sunlight on temps up to 75 degrees. I ordered this bottle about 4 months ago and still have a another months worth left. Use it for about 2 - 6 vehicles per week. Its versatility allows me to also use it: - a supplement for the foam cannon or wash bucket (16:1 foam cannon, 1/2 oz in 4 gallons of water in the bucket) to be used with another soap depending on the situation - a booster for my wheel bucket (1/2 oz to 3 gallons of water) for the extra suds and lubricity. I often mix it with Purple Power Vehicle and Boat Wash, Meguiars Gold Class/Shampoo Plus and Meguiars Ultimate Wash N Wax. - Ry That Detail Guy St. Louis, MO

Real Good quality shampoo but super thick viscosity - gel like so mixing dilution is a MAJOR pain.

Im not a veleter, just a car cleaning nut. Great stuff, leave's a sticky free, matt/no shiny/no reflective coating on the interior plastic, info screens and faux leather seats. it does the job well. the only thing i would have liked would have been a small amout of scent.
