Great for warming me in winter out of bath or shower...
SPECIAL AMAZON ADORABLE TRIVIA: I remember several years back I was out of Sugar in the Raw and needed to make a a low fat high fiber cake for breakfast since I have low blood sugar. It was a Sunday morn and I had ordered sugar from Amazon several days before. A mysterious unmarked Brand New European type Mercedes Van pulled up in front of my small house. Out popped a man who opened the back doors of the vehicle to reveal an empty van except for one package. It was indeed the 6 pounds of Sugar in the Raw. Off the mysterious delivery fellow jaunted before I even had time to see if I could spare one of my homemade loaves of bread to treat him with. When I opened the package I saw confetti, the type common to concerts I used to attend where it was poured out from above on the first five rows. At the end of the show I would pick some up off the seats and place it in my purse and tell the others around to do the same. It was an unusual confetti color(s.), one easily remembered. I realized the folks that worked the concert arena had a tough enough time vacuuming up the confetti so we picked it up off the chairs so they would not have to. It was that type of confetti I found in the Amazon Sugar in the Raw package to my amazement. I saved it for cuteness as a souvenir of that delivery. Today I was so busy I was late to shower, and guess what, my very plain robe was in the dirties. I had purchased one of these just two days ago cloaks as a spare bath robe for me as walking around in a Turkish towel after a shower if my robe is in the dirties makes it hard to make homemade pizza for dinner as the towel keeps falling off. Cloaks can be draped so many ways and the hood is great to dry my just washed hair. Busy, I was quite startled by the sound of a very loud helicopter. It sounded immense. I went to look out my front door and saw a small package with Chinese characters on the front neatly arranged on my small portico with a two day air stamp. Inside was this nifty cloak that is a great winter shawl and auxiliary bathrobe. So cheery! Thanks folks!UPDATE: Wore this for the first time after shower, had it tied to one side, and my spouse complimented me and said it was sexy. Found out just as I expected it works great to air dry my hair with the hood as I can lay down and put the hood on the pillow and woila, no wet pillowcase in the morning! I showered at night and the following morning was husband was busy readying for the 9-5. I only was wearing a camisole and panties yet I needed to trim some chives and herbs in our yard for our breakfast. (NOTE: On weekends he often helps with breakfast, even makes homemade bread, so I do not mind making breakfast on weekdays nor dinners, etc.) What do I do? Well I just grabbed my oversized cape, it was raining out so I threw the hood over my head, strapped my giant, cute, holographic platform sneaker galoshes on and had the herbs trimmed quicker than ever.-Julie Sands

Amazing Cape
I’m 5’5, and wanted this to be Red Riding Hood for a Halloween party. My concern was it would be too long and would drag on the floor so I tried my luck with a small. I was expecting horrible material with having to only pay 8.88... but I was pleasantly surprised! It arrived in a day and it’s a decently thing, string velvet. The straps are really strong and it overall looks so good!!! So glad I didn’t spend 20+ on a cheap Halloween store cape. Totally recomend.

Good value
For the price this is a very nice cape. The fabric is not too thin and the color was perfect. Often capes are made of fabric too light to create the illusion needed on stage - but this one is wonderful. Nice and long and the hood makes it perfect for our wizard.

Fantastic!
I love the flow of it, and it’s light and beautiful. The color is fantastic, and the interior of it is really comfortable. It makes for an eye catching outfit, and— let’s face it— capes are just super fun to wear.

Very long but beautiful
If you're thinking about ordering a little bit bigger because you're a little plus sized like me, don't do it. Order what you normally would. There's more than enough room in this cloak to fit fully around you and it measures long so if you buy too big you're going to be majorly dragging it on the ground/floor all night and risking tripping yourself. The quality however is beautiful and this product, especially for the price, is worth the buy.

The gold picture is not accurate to the color that arrived
I'm in the middle on this one. The size is accurate and very roomy. However, the color is awful! Think 80's velvet furniture! The color shown in the picture here says "gold" however, it shows a rose gold color. The color I got was definitely gold, but a hideous color of gold. I really wanted it to be the color of this photo.

gorgeous color
Truly a royal blue- color is wonderful. Well made. Not velvet, but a napped fabric of good quality, so it works well for a costume. Highly recommend.

The 50 inch cape is only 47 inch
I thought this would be an inexpensive way to keep warm on a cold day at the con without loosing the integrity of my character, but instead of having an ankle cape I have a mid calf hobbit looking, see thru cape. Not worth +$20.
