well constructed and sturdy. They will not bend or break. For the price this is a very good set. Compared to higher end tools, these have slightly smaller handles and the blades are not as well honed. If you have a large garden area or are digging up a lot of hard weeds, you may want to opt for the higher end, but they will be at a much higher price. For most backyard gardeners, these tools will be fine.

The spade on the trowel is so thick (almost 3/16") that it won't go into normal moist loam. If you are working in only loose potting soil, though, it might be alright there. The claws on the cultivator are just too thick for loamy soil around bushes, as it just won't dig in; but again if you're working only in loose potting soil it might be alright there, too. I'd bump it up a half a star for the very nice rubberized, ergonomic handles, but the handle doesn't do me any good when the working end of the tool is unusable. I need to go after tools made of carbon steel which have a slight edge ground onto the tips in order to be good diggers.

Tools arrived loose in the box, and would bang together and fall out the hole in front when moved around. Unfortunately, this was to be a gift.

I bought these for myself because I was tired of bending cheap trowels. These feel great in my hand even though I have very small hands. My husband has large hands but they fit his also. I love that they are bright colored but not a gaudy red or pink. They are easy to use in the dirt. They came before the expected time. Everything was in good condition and packaged very well.

Gave these to my daughter as a gift, and she liked them so much I bought a set for myself! I haven't used them yet, but I can they are well designed and solid, and they look good, too! I'm confident these garden tools will be just what I need!

I just received my garden tools last week and use them right away, I was totally amazed at the quality and I'm very happy with them. I would highly recommend these tools. I'm considering ordering another set as I know now how good this set is.

Mushrooms not worth the most ney, after watering every day, I only got a small handful of mushrooms, will not buy again.
