Gear AidHEROCLIP (Small) Carabiner Gear Clip and Hook, for Hanging Bags, Purses, Lanterns, Strollers, Tools, Helmets, Water Bottles, and More

Saw this in a video and thought it might be useful. Turns out I couldn’t live without it now! I’m a teacher and I work off site a lot. I end up teaching in the most random places where I don’t have anywhere clean to put my stuff, this has saved my gear by hanging it anywhere. I’ve also used it for travelling and day to day stuff like using public bathrooms where most of the time you would have to put your bag on the floor. I originally thought the price was a bit steep but it’s paid for itself a 1000 times over! I 100% recommend it!

This product got positive reviews / recommendations on YouTube travel-related channels. Indeed, it is a very useful item to have when you travel, as an essential backpack accessory. Used it now for a few weeks and appears to be durable. It is a compact size and weighs little so easy to store in a bag or jacket pocket. I use it to hang my work backpack on the office coat hanger which just happens to be right next to my desk. I can see how it could be used at the airport, hotel, a changing room or public toilet.

The hook itself seems good quality and useful, though is pricey for what it is. I was a bit concerned about the other reviews talking about it not closing properly, because as it arrived it looked to have the same problem. However a bit of fiddling and it's actually not a problem at all - the hook has an articulation point, so to close it you just need to turn the hook to the side slightly and then it all snugs together neatly. Very happy with it, though haven't used it extensively yet, just think it should be a little cheaper. I got the size small and while it's actually quite big in the hand, it's a good size for hanging off a thick office desk (3cm) - I think the mini might have been too small to do that.

I purchased the “Small” version (just the right size for us) so that we could hang our stuff off the floor securely when on holiday, or, just out and about for the day. You think you don’t need one of these until you’ve got one, then you won’t leave home without it as its uses are endless! Great item.

Strong sturdy and useful for many tasks. I do a lot of photography and Heroclips are indispensable in many situations from carrying kit to securing a stable tripod. But they are also really useful in everyday life. I always carry a couple in my work bag and keep one in the car as you never know when they will come in useful.

I'm buying more for all my bags

Really useful. Hanging towels, clothes, back pack etc. to anywhere you can hook or clip onto - tree, chair, back of a bus seat. When folding the hook back just need to remember that it goes in from the side!

I am yet to try it on a full rucksack but initial tasks using a day sack and carry on bag are all very good experiences.
