20oz Glass Tumbler with Straw and Lid Glass Water Bottle with Silicone Protective Sleeve BPA Free Grey

First, all of the good: this is easy to clean (dishwasher) and it’s sturdy glass. I have not broken one despite some rough handling. I don’t mind the acrylic straws and top; acrylic is one of the safest & most stable plastics. I live in a dry climate, so I never have much condensation on anything. They fit in cup holders; 20 ounces is a good compromise size. I have four of these; I plan to continue to use them.The bad is the cap. It’s made of four pieces — a stainless steel cosmetic layer, a clear acrylic window, a black plastic threaded insert that should be glued to the steel, and a silicone gasket. The issue is (likely) the glue that attaches the threaded insert to the steel. It seems to have failed in all four lids. I’m careful not to put the lid on too tightly, but now the steel spins for a few turns until I can catch the threaded insert and get the lid off. It’s getting worse on all four.Personally, I’ll put up with it until I can’t, then switch to friction fit lids. These still kept me from spilling liquids in my car, on my work, or off my bedside table, and prevented a year’s worth of disposable cups/bottles when I was out. But I wish replacement caps were available.

I had originally ordered the glass water bottle with the rubber sleeve cover that covers the entire glass but I was sent the other one where the glass peaks through . I think it looks really nice and luxurious and its very convenient to have ! I've been getting lots of compliments . I did notice the lid smells like steel but you cant smell it when your drinking or anything .

Love the cup but the only downfall is that the silicone cover makes it not fit in my car cup holder. I have to remove the cover and that defeats the purpose. The bottle will sweat without it.

So far so good. It sweats, but not as bad as a regular glass cup or tumbler without a silicone bottom. As for durability, not sure yet as I’ve only had it for a day or two!

Love this for grandma! It’s weight makes it easier to carry and hold for elderly hands! Great quality!

BUYER BEWARE! This is advertised as 20oz but I measured because it seemed less and it is in fact only 16oz. I purchased it because it was supposed to be 20oz. Disappointing
