Quality and Comfort in the name
A lot of research about what mtb knee pad is the best fit for trail and xc riding. This is one of the top brands, and will “not” break the bank. They are “Very” comfortable, will not slip down due to the silicone gripping. Know your size.. please measure before ordering. Great color, looks aggressive. Protects the knees very well. I was not aware they are on when riding, due to how light they are. Of course you be the judge.. you will not be disappointed.

Stays out. Comfortable. Good protection
I just got finished today’s Ride. 20 miles in N Klondike (Moab) . I have owned G Form, TLD, Fox, poc etc. first pair of pads that you don’t notice and stays put. They do need to document that they are weird when they first arrive . The pad is hard and curved. It needs to warm up and you flatten it out before first use Comes low enough catch pedals before they make you bleed... most of the time

where comfort meets protection
Absolutely in love with these knee pads. I bought these to replace a much bulkier knee/ shin pad. I love that these cover a good portion of your shin which is important as I ride flat pedals. At first they feel stiff and tight but become more comfortable as you ride. I don't even mind keeping them on after the ride because they're that comfortable. I haven't had a major crash with these pads but they have already protected me from my flat pedal pins when slipping off the bike. They also look pretty slick.

Comfortable, great protection coverage
My first ever knee pads... great coverage and overall protection. I tend to bash and bruise my knees, especially the inner portion, on my top tube and occasionally the stem when making moves up rocks and climbs etc. This has completely solved those issues for me... any falls I've had I've never stood up with any knee pain so probably doing it's job there too. One of my issues are the pad inserts get very stiff in cold temperatures, not even cold, just mild and the tend to curl inward. Putting them on without warming them and then massaging them into the correct form will end up giving me blisters from rubbing. This is a pain but customer service at 7idp said they'd send me replacement pads and I've yet to take them up on the offer because I'm lazy, forgetful and love to ride my mountain bike. The other issue is that stretch fabric rips pretty easy and now I've got holes in that material where my flats have poked holes the back of my calf when I slip a pedal. You also have to wear these against your skin for them to stay up. Tried putting them on with leg warmers underneath and everything slipped down. So now it's just knee pads first then chamois then shorts and pedal effin hard so the 20F wind doesn't freeze your lower legs! All that and I'd buy them again... Just wish they'd fix that cold weather stiffness, and maybe i'll switch to clipless or just get better at keeping my feet contacted to the pedals.

Forgot they were on
I was a bit worried when I first put them on that they wouldn’t stay in place. But after my first ride I was impressed how well they stayed put and how comfortable they were, it was cold out (37f) and they kept my legs warm enough with a pair of shorts.

The best compare to other
Tried a bunch of same high quality and pick this one The easy of not having straps and still being snug made the difference Protection is great as well for knee and most of your shin

Super comfortable
The XL (21"-23") works perfect for my 22" thigh. I hardly know I have them on. Great product!

These pads are really good!
These are awesome knee pads. I replaced a set of fox enduro pro with d3O. Those pads were good but the rear material tears way too easily. These knee pads are a little uncomfortable when you put it on because of the stiff material for the pads but after about 5 minutes of pedaling the pads will start to conform to your knees. One thing to note though if you are coming from the fox enduro pro, size XL on the fox is size L on these knee pads. The fox was very tight on my thighs, one burrito more and it will be too tight. These sam hill knee pads were a little loose at XL. I will order size L next time.

Was will man mehr?

Besides the fact that I've not taken a dive with these on (thankfully 😅), there's nothing to dislike & everything to love. There might be better protective knee pads out there but I'm a firm acolyte of the best protection is the ones you have on & enjoy wearing. In that vein, I'd say these are the best sleeve type knee pads I've worn. & I've tried lots Do not hope find out how well it protects but from visual & tactile inspection, these should do as well as any & definitely better than none. So the most comfortable are the best as its the ones you'll wear. From that perspective, I'd say its the best, for me atleast
