A seat stick with a eco-friendly canvas seat which has a buckle fastener to hold together whilst in stick mode. The handles are covered in canvas whilst the telescopic extending part is aluminium to match. A convenient feature is the spike-with-plate (point) for soft ground. A rubber ferrule can be purchased seperately

Very sturdy
There are few, if any, non-leather so-called 'shooting' (horrible word) sticks available these days and so I was very pleased to come across this one. Robust, well made and sturdy were the words that came to mind when I unpacked it. There was nothing to fit together. All that was required was an adjustment to the height with the screw on the pole. Having read a previous review regarding making sure it was screwed in tightly otherwise it might collapse, I was a bit concerned. However, I had noticed that most of the other brands of adjustable sticks have these types of fixings. Having seen it, I really don't think there is anything to be worried about. There is a strong pin which fits through the pole stopping it from moving up or down and the screw was easy to tighten (use gloves if your hands are a bit weak). I felt confident it would remain in position. Overall I thought it was a very good product

Recommend
Light and doubles as a hiking pole. Quite comfortable for short rests whilst walking towpath but remember it’s not designed for an all night TV watching session! But it keeps everything dry on a damp walk where any benches are likely to be sodden, price is reasonable saw very similar in a gift shop for double the orice

Sort out material on handle
disappointed with the material around the handle, there was a roughness to it and a large seam underneath where the fingers go. If you walk with it too long it becomes uncomfortable. if they sorted the handle material would have been much better

They are not very comfortable to sit on either - only for very short ...
Originally ordered 2 in black but they only had 1 black and 1 brown so settled for that. The brown one has the shoulder strap on the wrong way so its very difficult to carry. They are not very comfortable to sit on either - only for very short periods and then you have to maintain your balance by digging your feet into the ground so that it doesn't topple over. Used at the Open golf recently but didn't bother after one day - too uncomfortable and too much hassle.

Good value
Perfect for the purpose that I bought it for. Only thing I feel may be an issue is you have to screw the lug in very tight or the seat would collapse therefore not suitable for those with poor grip strength, elderly or frail.
