Great option for little ones
The pencils look to be of good quality, with a beautiful color variety and a built-in sharpener in the box. They are being easy to hold for little fingers and great for coloring books. I bought them for a two-year-old and they proved easy to hold and attractive because of the variety of colors.

Yes they are short but I think it is still a good deal.
I bought this set for my 4 years old son for his activity books. The wood is of high quality which means it does not crumble while sharpening. The colors are lively and cover the full spectrum offering a few different tone of each color. I think short size ( 3 1/4 inches of initial length) is ideal for preschoolers whose fine motor skills are not there yet to properly operate longer versions. Besides the distance between the paper and kid's eye is way shorter than that of an adult and in that case a full size pencil would really block the eyesight preventing him see what he is drawing. I agree with the complaints about it being too short and so after a few sharpenings it gets too short to use. It think it would be still okay if they were around 4 inches but for less than 10 cents per color and an added sharpener it is still a good deal (compared to howmuch it costs in other stores). I can say they met my expectations. Consider it for preschoolers not for adults...

Great price, variety of colors
These are just the right size for travel or children. I like them because there are a variety of colors, there is a sharpening device built in to the box, and they are strong and durable. The price is good if you are looking for a variety of colors but don’t have a lot of money to spend on colored pencils.

Too short for my hands. Granddaughter loves them.
I originally bought the Crayola 64 count short colored pencils for my adult coloring books. Shortly after using them I noticed my hands starting to cramp. My hand did not appreciate trying to hold steady on such a short stick. I decided to give these to my four year old granddaughter. These are the perfect size for her small hands. Not too big or too small. She really liked the smaller size. The colored pencils themselves are of good Crayola quality. The pencils are sturdy and colorful. I like the choice of having a selection of 64 different colors to color with. I would recommend adults try a longer size. I am removing one star because of the short length versus the cost. I would order these again for my granddaughters use, not mine.

Affordable price, resonable quality, versatile and good for those starting out
I bought these as a gift for an eight year old family member who loves to colour. These are perfect. The set is 64 colours and there is a built in sharpener in the box. 64 is a wonderful range of colours for anyone, especially a young artist. Crayolas are frowned on by some artists, but they are good pencils, from renewable resources, in a great colour range, and very affordable. These pencils are short, so perfect for a child or someone who doesn't know if they want some Prismacolors or Faber Castell sets (each of which I have along with Conte Pencils and others) Crayolas are rather hard leads, but some vibrant colours can be achieved with some layering or some pressure. They blend surprisingly well, and they aren't waxy or oily. They are non-toxic. The lid can be held closed when not in use with a rubber band if heavy use makes it floppy. A really nice thing about Crayola is that if you don't know if you like to colour, but want something more adult than crayons, try these. They are very inexpensive, and you may be surprised at how much you can do these pencils. Since they aren't oily or waxy, colours can be shaded easily and repeatedly with a light touch. This can help a young artist learn some colour theory though experimentation. These are good for a young and up and coming artist before an investment of real money in made. These are also great to have around the house when visitors come with young ones, and you don't want to allow the use of your pencils. These pencils and some plain paper can keep children and adults happy and you don't need to keep a toy chest - just a small box of coloured pencils. Yes, you won't find many serious artists reviewing Crayola, but don't sell this set short. If you are wondering about the differences between high end pencils compared to Crayola, look at youtube and you will find some interesting videos for comparisons which may surprise you.

Nowhere does it say the crayons are less than 9cm each, not nearly long enough for an adult. A normal pencil crayon is at least 16cm long. Yes, lots of colours, but sharpen them once and they are practically gone. Waste of money. Not even worth buying for a child over 5.

Good, the only thing is that the pencils are short, but you do get 64 colors.
