Louisiana Brand Habanero Hot Sauce, 1 Gallon

If you aren't familiar with this product, it tastes a great deal like Frank's Red Hot sauce. I would say the flavor is a little bit better...slightly more pepper, slightly less vinegar, but the flavor profile is pretty similar: a vinegar-based hot sauce, with some saltiness.However, it is MUCH hotter than Franks (including Frank's "extra hot" sauce, which is actually not much hotter than the original). It's also hotter than the original Tabasco, but unlike the hotter Tabasco sauces (such as the scorpion or habanero Tabasco hot sauces), they chose to make it taste pretty much like the original...only much hotter.(By contrast, the Tabasco scorpion and habanero sauces are very sweet and taste very different from the original. I prefer the Louisiana habanero by a considerable margin).It's not SUPER hot mind you...there are many hotter sauces out there (scorpion, ghost, or carolina reaper sauces, as well as sauces that add pure capsaicin to make themselves ridiculously hot), but it is as hot or hotter than most habanero sauces. The heat level will be too much for beginners, but it should not give any real challenge to a real chili-head...this is a good "every day" sauce for people that love hot sauces and enjoy a good bit of heat, but it is not a "dare your stupid friend to eat a drop then laugh at him as he goes into spasms" kind of heat.If you like the flavor of Frank's or other vinegar-based sauces but they aren't hot enough for you, this is probably your best option (especially if you go through gallons of sauce every year like I do). They didn't screw with the flavor, and the price is excellent...I have no complaints about this one and will be buying it again and again.

I LOVE hot sauce and hot peppers. I grow them myself. I've tried literally hundreds of different hot sauces ranging from your off the shelf big-box generic sauces to some that I've had to sign waivers for saying I wouldn't use them in ways that might hurt people because they were hot enough to cause chemical burns! I absolutely love Melinda's hot sauces and have been sold out to that brand until I stumbled across a bottle of this for $.99 on a Wal-Mart shelf one day. This particular sauce has the BEST flavor and the PERFECT amount of heat to let you REALLY enjoy the sauce on almost anything you can imagine and ALL at a RIDICULOUSLY low price per ounce. If you've never had Louisiana Habanero sauce, please don't let the price tag fool you and don't let any previous assumptions on the flavor of ORIGINAL Louisiana hot sauce dissuade you from giving this one a try - if you like great hot sauce YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

I never thought that I would find any hot sauce better than Louisiana original . But WOW the habanero is hotter and taste better.

My sister in law turned me on to this little trick. Love to feed my yard animals (squirrels too!) and this stuff makes the food last longer. Great bang for my buck!

Very spicy I love it!!! Totally different than the Original Hot Sauce it will definitely clear your sinuses.

this stuff is hot just a little over powering in salt

My dad loves this stuff but the little individual bottles are hard to come by and are expensive. So I just bought some empty glass bottles with the dripper that come with them. He’s extremely pleased
