Mixed review on this product, which is of good value.
I have difficulty reviewing this product. It is an excellent value for the money for the charger box with the dongle on it that connects to my laptop computer. The problem is that the power kept going out that was being fed to the computer. The problem was the extra long AC cord that plugs into the transformer box. I found out that if I moved the AC cable around, especially at the end that plugs into the transformer part with the DC power plug dongle, I could get power to flow, until the cable moved. This all was fixed by my replacing the AC cable that came with the power supply with an older one that I had that has stronger, thicker braided copper wire in it. The new AC cables all have thinner, strand wiring in it to keep the cost down. Since I have dozens of these cables in my office that connect to old computers, monitors and appliances, it poses no problem for me to replace the AC cable with the female three hole connection that plugs into the 3 prong male "port" of the transformer.The bottom line is that this product is a cheaper power supply that works for my high amperage HP Omen laptop computer. I have multiple power supplies for a single laptop, one at each of the 3 locations where I plug in the computer. I did this, because I kept forgetting the power supply at one of the 3 locations. With a power supply at 3 of the locations where I use the computer, this helps me with this problem. With the low cost of this unit, it makes it more price effective to do this. I own the original HP power supply, an official replacement model ordered from HP that cost $159 plus shipping and handling and this unit with cost well under a third of the cost of the HP OEM replacement power supply unit. This unit runs cooler than the OEM HP Omen power supply, so I suspect it will last longer than the HP OEM unit. That it runs cooler, might be because of the larger foot print of the transformer box. I have been using it for several months at my home location with no problem once I replaced the AC power cable.

**UPDATED PART**This charger has caused me so many headaches. So, whenever I took my laptop from my desk to class, I'd leave the OEM Charger at the desk and take this one with me. Now, when I'm in class, I just need power, nothing else really.However, I took my laptop back home for Christmas Break, and I took this charger with me, leaving the OEM at my desk. I get home, set up my laptop and all the peripherals, only to discover that my laptop which used to be able to play games like Rocket League @ 4k60fps could no longer even load the game. After many discussions with HP, Nvidia, and a few local repair shops, we came to the conclusion it must be my laptop.WRONG. IT WAS THE CHARGER. I got back to college, plugged my laptop back into the OEM, and it worked JUST FINE. Plugged into the new one? INSTANT FAILURE. Called up HP, they confirmed the charger is missing something inside it so it won't work.This charger is NOT what you want. Spend the extra money, find a OEM charger. Knock-Offs. Wow.**Original**Day One Review:I typically update after time and use, but I just received it, wanted to put my Day One Review in.Works. Cables are adequate length. Charges my HP Omen 17-w295nr perfectly. The only complaint is the physical charger is much larger than the original one that came with my laptop. Almost a third larger in all directions. I haven't put it to any serious use, however, I plan on booting up a Triple-A Game, something that drains power quickly, and putting this charger through its paces.Overall, its good. **Ha, this was a lie**

I left original at home when I went out of town. Amazon delivered it to my out of town hotel on schedule. Great job and thanks Amazon.

Useless, Don't Waste Your Money - Never Worked
I bought this for my HP Omen, but the ad was deceptive, and the charger itself never once worked for my laptop. Plugged it in, the box worked, but the cord itself wasn't accepted by my computer. So ultimately a pointless waste of money.

NOT THE SAME AS WHATS ADVERTISED
NOT what I ordered or paid so much for! This thing is huge and heavy! It's been a total headache. PLUS it's not the same brand- Very disappointed-
