Skinomi Screen Protector Compatible with Garmin GPSMAP 60Cx Clear TechSkin TPU Anti-Bubble HD Film

Thank you Skinomi, I really appreciate the opportunity to protect and preserve the screens on my devices. I have used Skinomi's concept on 3 phones and 3 GPS units. This one, for a handheld GPS, is a little different. Having discovered Skinomi, this is the first product of I've used that I am trying to help and correct a screen that is less than stellar. (I have used the others on new device installations) And actually this is a modified application! I do not have the Garmin 60cx that this is really designed to fit. My unit is a Garmin eTrex VentureHC whose screen has been scuffed and scratched already. Skinomi does not make a protector for my particular model, so I gambled that I could modify this one and make it work/fit. I could and it did!. Sharp scissors, a razor blade. a straight edge and a large post-it note to make a pattern and I was off on the adventure. I was able to modify the size and shape of this one and make it fit! So now not only is the screen protected from further abuse, BUT many of the screen scuffs and scratches disappeared and are no longer noticeable!*NOTE-For first time Skinomi users*Read the instructions, THEN go to their website or You Tube and watch the how-to video-twice. Some pointers to remember and HEED. Wash and rinse your hands, at least twice, before starting. Find an area to work that is clean and debris/dust free. Get everything sorted out and spread out before you start the process. Do a walk through. Now go wash and rinse your hands again and leave them somewhat damp. Keep your hands, and especially your finger tips, moist with the included spray (there is LOTS in the applicator, don't be stingy with it). When you have completed the installation, resist the urge to keep tinkering with your device. Leave it off, put it down/away and wait at least overnight before judging your install and the way it looks and works. The longer you can leave it alone before handling it or turning it on the better. Be patient with every part. You need to block out a minimum of 30 minutes, in my opinion, to do this properly.

I am convinced that screen protectors and needed for all devices that have a screen. Delicate or not. Ordered this one from Skinomi based on the reviews but mostly because in applying it you can apply wet and position it before it dries. Not to mention it comes with a lifetime warranty. It even warrants installations. Well, my first attempt did not go well. Not sure what happened but was more than likely me. I called and they honored the warranty with no questions asked. I received the replacement in less time than the original purchased item. Excellent customer service. Happy to say the second time was a charm after it set up a few days, not bubbles and crystal clear. Thank you Skinomi... Keep up the great work. Hopefully I won't need to bother them again. This appeared to be a good screen saver. It fit the GPS screen nicely. However, after following the instructions and placing the screen saver onto the screen, I could not get the bubbles out.I worked on it for quite some time and eventually gave up. The following day I checked on it and the screen saver fell off!

Worked great on my older 60csx. Finally pulled off the original plastic, should have put this on a long time ago.

We followed the directions very carefully and despite a bit of worry, the bubbles did disappear. After 24 hours or so, everything looked great. Definitely worth the price and would recommend to others.

I installed the first one wrong and they sent me a new one free. The lifetime warranty is worth it. It works great. The self healing part is great. I had some minor screen scratches and installing this made them vanish.

Looks good on my Garmin GPSmap 60CSx.I didn't get it on perfectly, but sure beats what I had on there before.It fits well.I can read my screen again.Very happy with it.

This company goes out of there way to make certain that you be satisfied with the end result. Instructions to install are very clear and a you tube video has been prepared going over the steps installing their screen saver. The installed screen saver looks very durable and is not noticeable..
