Pack'em Folding Kayak Rack Stainless Steel Roof Mounted J-Style Carrier Rack Racks - 2 Sets

Three of 8 mounting screws were off center. It took 2 hours to install. Needed an electricians flat head screw driver to force back the plastic while another person turned the mounting screw to seat it. Then you need to hold the screw in place with your thumb while working the lock nut from the bottom so the mounting screw does not back out. I have a roof box I can mount in 10 minutes with wing nuts.

These racks are great! We bought these because we drive a 4runner and standard j racks would have to be removed every time we parked the truck in the garage. Too tall for the door.These racks fold down great, seem strong and do exactly what they're made for - hauling a kayak!... or two. If I had to suggest anything, it would be a request for mounting brackets that actually fit elliptical shaped roof racks. The oe roof track on the 4runner has elliptical bars, so we're currently using the flat set that came with them. Would be a better fit with something made for the ellipse. Otherwise, great rack, great price!

Not perfect, but gets the job done. Hard for one medium sized woman to use without help.

Exactly what I was looking for. Easy to install and after reading other reviews about them rusting I decided to remove them from my After each use. Takes about 5-10 minutes per set. Held large tandem kayak with no issue.

it worked but will not stay in place while loading knobs will not stay tight came lose during the drive.

product quality ok. still waiting to receive missing parts to install.

As expected and advertized. It shipped days sooner than expected and all parts were in the box.
