BTW, I use daily in my arsenal against unwanted apartment visitors. ...Pests! As I prepare my daily morning coffee, I also put 2-3 cups of water on the stove to slow boil. I add 30 or so cloves, with 3 or 4 bay leaves crumpled up. After it browns up, I pour into a small 2 cup coffee pot, place on the coffee warmer, and let it work it's magic until bedtime. Later, in the afternoon, sometimes I'll use 8 or so drops of pure peppermint for an added SLAP to the sensitive smelling bugs. With some other stuff I use, I'm living pest-free for the first time in 5 years.
