Size 120 meant to fit kids 6-8 years is only 15 inches long at the waist level (yes, that means 7.5 inches diameter), and barely bigger than my stretched palm. It won't fit my 4 year old, much less her 6 year old friend.

Going off the size chart I bought this believing it would fit my 8 year old grandaughter .... NOT EVEN CLOSE. Tried it on my 5 year old grandaughter, it fit pretty well but... it fell apart and faded with huge black spots all over the bottom piece, the top straps broke. This all happened the first day it was worn in the pool. I would not recommend this product to anyone. My grandaughter had asked for this suit as a birthday present. This was a huge waste of my hard earned money. Only thing that would make me feel better about this horrible experience would be to have my money refunded.

Its absolutely adorable. Runs small though. It also shredded after 1 use. I am in contact with seller and seems like she is happy to send me a replacement- which is nice. But I'm not too optiimistic that it will last much longer then the 1st. Its super cute and my daughter LOVES it. but is really cheaply made.

Dissapointed. The fin would not stay in the foot no matter what the adjustment. The strap comes out of the buckle constantly. Slips off foot if it’s even a tiny bit too strong of an underwater kick. Which is kind of the point of using it, to swim like a mermaid. After trying to work the buckle more the strap broke - only 4 uses in water.The mermaid fabric tail wore holes after 4 uses in a salt water pool (we rinsed and air dried each time) and the scales wore off in several places that quickly as well.3 stars cuz I’m not sure if that’s normal wear for this type of fabric.

My daughter say many mermaid tails at the pool before we purchased this one. It is very very cute.The reason for three stars is:-The tail looks like it will not hold up more than a season. We have a saltwater pool (much milder than chlorine) and after three swims the seams are already showing signs of wear and even holes.- The monofin is a little large. We purchased the 4-5 year old size and my daughter who is a little on the small side but 5.5 years old can barely keep it on. It's a little frustrating because try as she might she can't get it to stay on.

There is really nothing terribly wrong with this, its a good deal but I was unaware that the tail fin cover uses snaps along the bottom to hold in the fin and they don't stay closed which frustrated my 9 year old. Every time she swam/kicked the snaps would open...I ended up sewing the bottom shut. She had one last year where the fin cover was stitched all around and it was much better. For that reason I would not buy it again and would recommend it hesitantly.

My daughter loves the mermaid tail. It fits her perfectly! The only complaint is that it does not have the back snaps that hold the fin in place. It does have the front snaps. So the fin sticks out of the end of the fabric tail.

This set is great for the price. The print on the large tail cover is made out of swimsuit material that will fade after a while. But my daughter used her first one in the pool, on pebble tech surface, and in the bathtub. So it had heavy use. She still likes it. For the price, looks great, quality pretty good, and I have purchased 2.
