NOT what I expected to get
About LAIWEN Rechargeable Hearing Amplifier Device:First - the manual is useless, it's written on some kinda weird language, it looks like someone translated it from Chinese with no effort to check if it makes sense in English. Also, there are references to the photos and diagrams that do not exist in this manual.The product performance is very poor. It starts whistle before and during inserting it in your ear, so loudly, that it can make your hearing condition even worse.Also, I did not noticed any help or improvement in speech recognition because this thing is amplifying all including noise around you.Don't waist your time and money on this LAIWEN Rechargeable Hearing Amplifier Device

Difficult to insert without feedback
I have mild to moderate hearing loss and wanted an in ear type device. The problem began with inadequate instructions. But the real problem was trying to insert it without serious squealing feedback. It seemed impossible to push it in without pushing on the button that controls the volume. I returned them.

A very pleasant surprise
The unit is so small it was difficult to handle because I have long nails and I purchased it for my brother and his fingertips couldn't place it very far into the ear canal but after we actually got it in with the wire pointing down we could push it into place and it worked like a charm. I saw the biggest smile come across his face, it was pretty incredible. He loved it, although it was initially overwhelming because it had been so long since he could really hear people talk to him now he could hear voices from all around him and so he needs to re train his brain to focus on what he wants to listen to.

Great aid and very adjustable settings
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to wear it because of the shape and size of my ear canal.The unit itself is awesome, and would definitely say give it a try.Their customer service is great, and work hard to satisfy your needs.

Works as advertised
No dislikes these heating aids work as advertised just be patient and give it time to adjust to you ,everything I have read says you should have a left and right hearing aids for balance I would suggest that you offer a pair in the future.

Take some getting used too, but given some time, ....... very pleased!This seller is very helpful as well!

buyer be ware
the little button on the volume control came off right out of the box as for audio sounds like your in a echo chamber. the quick guide that comes with it is kind of generic.

it works
My mom has been using a hearing aid for a long time. finding one that works has taken months. This works and it's rechargeable. Nice and discrete.
