Sam Villa Signature Series Boar Bristle Hair Brush For Hair Styling

I have only had this brush for a couple weeks, but it's made a big difference in my hair care. I have long, fine, pretty straight hair that gets tangled super easily. I used to dread brushing my hair in the morning or after showers because it took effort to get all the knots out. With this brush, it takes much less effort to brush the knots out of my hair. It feels gentler and doesn't hurt. I no longer dread brushing!

My hairstylist recommended this brush to me so I finally bought it. This is the best hair product purchase I have ever made! My hair untangles easy with it and no pulling. My hair is smooth and straightens out without looking frizzy.

I researched quite a few brushes reading reviews for each and loosing bristles is a common complaint for most of the cheaper brushes. Most of them with the first use! This brush didn't have any reviews but it did have the Sam Villa name (which I had to look up on the internet). It seemed like he would put out a quality product (I decided) and the price was reasonable so I took a chance and purchased one. I really love the brush and after many vigorous brushings there are NO missing bristles. It does what a bb brush is supposed to do, my scalp feels great and my hair is super shiny and healthy. Love the bamboo handle and the quality of the brush overall is top notch. If you're looking for a good quality bb brush and you don't want to break the bank give this one a try. I don't review many items, but I know how frustrated I was in my own search. This is a great brush! Hope this helps someone in their search. Maybe even you.

I have always needed a good boar bristle brush that also has many stiff nylon or plastic bristles in it to be able to pull it through my thick hair. I still have my favorite wooden hairbrush from the 1990s, because I had not yet found a decent replacement for it. Over the past two decades, I've purchased 3 other boar-nylon bristle brushes (1 via Amazon). However, none of them went all the way through to my scalp when I was brushing with those ... the nylon bristles were just not strong enough or there weren't enough of them. I donated them to Goodwill.Finally, I found this one and tried it. Voila - it works great! If you have a sensitive scalp or thin hair, you might want to skip this one. The nylon has not yet softened up on my new brush, and it can be a bit intense when you're first using this. I've gotten used to it, and now it feels like a 'scalp massage' every time I use this brush.Love it ... thanks Sam Villa, I'll be purchasing more in the future.

Very nice quality hairbrush at a great price. I have fine hair, but LaoTS of it, plus my scalp is sensitive. This brush feels very good.

This brush is wonderful! I've been using it mostly for directional drying on my clients. It's been difficult not just keeping it at home for my personal use! 😉

I searched a while to find a top quality boar and nylon brush for my BF, who likes the one I bought years ago (that isn’t made any longer). This one is clearly well made, and doesn’t have the weird balls on the end of the nylon like all the others. It’s stiffer than my old one, but not too much.
