I bought the Medium and it is a great fit for most 45-55L packs
I bought the Medium and it is a great fit for most 45-55L packs. At the upper end 50+ liters it is maxed out and will probably not work if you have things strapped to the outside of the pack but should accommodate bottles in side pockets. Osprey is zero help in giving actual dimensions but if it helps anyone, the Medium is sized as follows, measuring between the stitched seams: 29"h x 12.5"w x 11.5"d. Made from a light siliconized nylon fabric with taped seams that packs up super small and will remain waterproof for a long time. This material can be poked and abraded fairly easily so try to be careful with it in brush or when setting it down but it is reasonably durable. If you need higher durability, bite the bullet and get a heavier pack cover. A very nice feature of this pack cover that is not advertised or pictured often is that the bungee cinch cord can be looped over the hip belt (an opening on the cinch channel on each side). This keeps it from coming off in wind or when you need to get into the pack while not wearing it...simple idea to make it simpler to use. There is also a small light 3/8" clip buckle near the top, attached to the cinch cord that can provide additional security from it being blown or pushed off of the pack. Great product and I like it better than the similar Sea To Summit pack covers, and it's costs less, too.

A must for an Osprey pack!
This raincover is a must if you have an osprey pack. It fits my Atmos 50AG perfectly and packs away very very small. The material is very thin which helps reduce the weight of the cover but does not compromise the integrity of its water resistances. The edges of the cover have elastic which helps secure the cover over your pack. The cover also comes with a small buckle that clips between your back and the backpack. This buckle can be buckled out of the way so that it does not poke into your back. When not using this cover, it folds up very small and has a clip that can used to attach the cover to the inside of one of the top pockets. This way the rain cover can be found very easily in emergency situations.

Perfect fit and good quality
I have an Osprey backpacking backpack and this rain cover was a perfect fit for it and very easy to put on and take off of the backpack. It’s lightweight and folds down nicely into the attached storage pouch. I’m very pleased with this product and would recommend it to others.

Good quality, very packable and light, but sturdy, raincover - recommended if you know it will fit your pack
I purchased an Osprey Atmos 65AG size medium, and this cover is a very good fit. Even with the expansion pocket on the back containing rain gear consisting of a military issue rain poncho, as well as nicely pack-able goretex top and bottoms it had no problem covering everything. I did not have a ground pad strapped to it, as I have upgraded from a 20 year old original therma-rest to a Klymit model which packs up the size of a 1 quart water bottle (like a Nalgene) which I can now store in the side pocket of my pack. Depending on your choice of sleeping pad, it may or may not work with this cover, honestly I haven't taken the time to try putting my old pad on the outside and than putting on the Raincover. It is easy and quick to put on, just make sure the word "Osprey" is eight side up and you are all set. The only con I see is that with the pack I am using, the waist belt is partially exposed with the cover on, but I have given the whole pack a waterproofing treatment, so it shouldn't be a problem. I had heard other reviews where people mentioned that with the waist belt padding exposed, once wet they would wick moisture up into the covered portion of the pack. So, I spent $6 or so on a can of Atsko's Silicone Water-Guard at Walmart, they currently are selling 13.125 ounce cans which is an excellent price according to the research I have done on the product. Unlike other silicone based sprays that just fill the voids in the weave with silicone, rendering it waterproof yet unable to breathe, they have come up with a formula which waterproofs materials while leaving them breathable. I went so far as to use the product on some military issue ACU pants, and I can now form a pocket of the material, run it under the faucet, and the puddle stays on the outside for as long as I hold it, and once poured off, the inside remains dry, yet if you put it to your mouth, you CAN breath through the material. So I think I have solved the wet, wicking waist belt issue and while very light and compact, I find comfort in having the pack cover as well, as it feels sturdy enough to withstand scrapes from branches and such, barring I take a tumble in a cactus field. And it is definitely waterproof. I got in the shower with it, without the pack, and gave it an all over dousing looking for any possible weak spots, and I'm happy to report I didn't find any problems at all. I would recommend this cover to anyone with a pack that it would fit. As I say, mine is a 65 liter pack, and though it fit my pack pretty snugly, it I imagine it could work on a 70 liter, or possibly even slightly larger pack. It had some extra room to be sure, but not enough that I felt it was too large for my medium Atmos by any means. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the exposed waist belt, but that is really an issue with the pack more than the cover, it would be nice if they developed a cover that has some sort of sleeve to accomodate the waist padding/belt area, but until then, two thumbs up from me!

Great Backback
This Osprey is great for traviling. I use when I am travling around the world. It works better the a bag with rollers.

Bought this for my SD Flex Capacitor and the fit is great. The hip cords are just right and with the QR clip on the top it is very secure. Nice and light weight too. All you could want for a pack cover.

I like the quality and the well thought out way it fits and is secured by a strap which clips behind the shoulder straps of your backpack. I dislike the price especially when many packs come supplied with an integrated rain cover. It fits my Exos 48 litre just fine and it stuffs into it's own little pocket. Weighs next to nothing.
