It is really nice , thick and comfortable

Let's get the more obvious elements dealt with quickly. This arrived swiftly, well packaged and undamaged. It comes with a nice storage bag and a clever little strap gizmo. What does it do? It slides over the mat once you've rolled it, and easily and simply holds it rolled up. I'm the clumsy guy who could never fit a sleeping bag in its case, and even I can (first time and every time) neatly roll this and fit it in its bag. The mat is soft yet supportive and really pleasantly warm to the touch. I went for the purple colour and it has a WHAM! factor on the eye that I find mildly helpful for revving myself up to exercise. So, I think it's worth stating at this point that I'm a beginner at exercising. I'm clumsy, somewhat overweight (weighed >80kg when I started using this). I'm not sure if this makes me a good reviewer or a bad one - maybe it depends on what state you, the reader are in. Despite my awkward movements, I've found the mat doesn't slip and slide on the hard floor underneath it, when my feet (whether in socks, trainers or bare) sometimes do. Perhaps if I was a hardcore exerciser I might be moving so aggressively that might change, but I reckon it's good. But my novice status also led me to do something that, it turns out, was unwise. I used a step (as in for 'step aerobics') on top of the mat. It gave a nice, comfy, slightly bouncy quality to my steps. But... it also left what seems to be permanent dents in my brand new mat. I can't quite decide, in my innocence, if this is a fault in the mat or just sheer stupidity on my behalf. It's even possible there were instructions in the box when it arrived telling me not to do this (my kid opened the packaging, rather enthusiastically, so I didn't see any instructions). So, you can understand why I hummed and hawed about whether to take off a star, just for this. In the end I did, because I think it's reasonable to think you could use a step in this manner without damaging the mat. I'm an enthusiastic reviewer, but on this occasion, I think I need to be slightly harsh. For me the big question always is - "Would I buy this again"? And if you're wondering that, the answer is... absolutely. It's lovely to exercise on, even if the exercise itself if anything but lovely. But... I wouldn't put a step on it again.

This is a really good mat with good amount of thickness and padding for excercising.

Really padded, supportive and well made yoga mat. It has very good ribbed effect grip on the top side and it is non slip on wooden flooring which is what I needed.

Nice and thicker-than-usual mat, great quality.

I have to admit it's a lovely comfy mat but when it comes to movement, it's very stretchy, downward dog becomes a downward slump.... Anything where I'm doing mountain climbers, it stretches to the point it's impossible to be safe... Gently exercising yes, anything more it's not the best, that added to the fact it slides on hard floors!

Buscaba una esterilla algo "gordita" para poder hacer yoga sobre todo en las posturas en las que apoyas las rodillas, o de lado para ejercicios de fitness, y muy bien! es muy cómoda y cumple su función. Muy recomendable. Además el hecho de ser de material eco-friendly me convenció para pedirla.
