I'm sure the show will be as good as always but you can tell the people who have put together the Blu Ray copy have cut some corners to get it made cheaply. The textured cardboard slip-cover from seasons 1-7 has been replaced by a thin cardboard sleeve this feels like it could get damaged quickly. Also all the discs no longer have cover art (just text). The actual blu ray case build quality is up there with the worst I've ever seen, lots of air bubbles and on my replacement set the plastic cover is so lose it's hard to put the slip cover back on without damaging the thin card. As with recent releases there's no extras to be found. Given last season they waited about 1-2 weeks before they put it on Netflix it's a disappointing product in terms of effort. American Horror fans willing to pay more for the best quality experience deserve better.

Braindead individuals locked away in an underground vault like some sad reality TV show. The worst thing is it is used as a vehicle to push division. The system, not satisfied with making male and female a thing, made race a thing. Not happy with the level of conflict created by these subdivisions, it introduced further divisions. Sexual orientations and fictitious genders. And the members of these communities believe it is a good thing; they believe the system cares for them when it fact they are only being used to create division and conflict.A lot of shows are pushing this kind of crap. I personally believe there is nothing wrong with homosexuality but the system has spotlighted it and made it a thing; a subdivision for their own purposes and not for promoting 'tolerance'.I refuse to watch any show blatantly pushing this agenda, this BLT Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato movement.

I genuinely don’t get the hate for this season, it’s such a great love letter to longtime fans of the show. Although it does heavily focus on the coven witches, it’s just as much about Michael Langdon too, so it is a Murder house and Coven crossover as stated originally.Not only the coven and Michael langdon return tho, Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Basset, lily rabe and more all return giving one of the most exciting seasons ever.If you’re a fan of the show you will almost certainly really like this season, if you’ve never seen it before, it might be worth watching season one but definitely watch season 3 before this.Finally, the end of episode 3 remains to be one of the most iconic of the season, and probably in my opinion the best final episode of any of the seasons yet.

This season starts off perfectly in the mist of nuclear Armageddon and feels like a kind of Fallout meets AHS cross. Unfortunately, after a few episodes it switches direction to back stories and from that point it feels like it is trying to extend on the stories of previous seasons rather than be its own thing. This means you also need to have seen the previous seasons to get the best out of it and know who the characters are. The acting of course is still top class and it's good to see most of the assemble cast present. It's a good season, but I just wished they'd done it a bit differently and expanded on the style and ideas of the first few episodes.

The slipcase has two major dents in the back, and is badly dented along the spine on both sides. I am not happy at all about this. I expect my blu-rays to look like new when they arrive - this one certainly does not.

I have seen all the seasons so far...this one may yet be the best. Gripping and chilling from the start. Edge of the seat stuff. You don’t have to be familiar with the AHS format to enjoy this, thoroughly enjoyable.
