I installed this battery in a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4. I already had installed a Powermaster 170 amp alternator and an external 200 amp adjustable voltage regulator you can just see in the picture slightly to the right at the bottom. The charging system must not drop below 14.7 or it won't keep this mammoth charged. If you can see the voltage display on the positive terminal you'll notice it's at 15.1, I took this pic just after I disconnected the trickle charger. I use a simple plug-in wall-wart cube with alligator clips on it, with no load it reads 18 volts at 300 milliamps. It absolutely SUPER charges this battery over a 48 hour period & it will stay up forever. I'm a licensed ham radio operator & I use this battery in my Jeep to go "hilltopping", climbing up hills both on and off road & making contacts with all my radios & assorted toys. As long as I don't use any amplification I can sit & have fun for hours without burning a drop of gas. I also run a fairly impressive sound system which is all Kenwood except for a Kicker 10 inch dual-coil sub in a bandpass box. Kenwood amp is 900 watts, I've listened to music for an hour on the battery before & it still started the engine so fast I didn't hear the starter. I also run a set of 55 watt fogs, 55 watt drivers, 100 watt set of offroads on the roof & 130s on the front bumper all Halogen. They all light up BRIGHT, I am very pleased with the performance & dependability of this battery.

Had for a month now and can’t start car anymore.Doesn’t even pull enough juice to run my cars and rear view camera together

Please read this review. Yes, I just returned my brand new Optima battery to my auto parts store here in my home town. The reason is during starting of my car I have a one volt voltage drop due to the starter taking the amps. Here is what my volt meter was reading to wit.: Full charge battery = 12.7 volts d.c. During starting 11.7 volts d.c. One more try at starting and my volt meter read 11.4 volt d.c. My ignition coil will NOT fire spark at 11.4 volts d.c. My Optima was tanked down and near zero charge left in the battery for starting. Hence I bought this 14 volt Battery from Amazon and now my vehicle starts all the time, every time. This XS Power D1400 14V 2,400 Amp AGM Battery is what you need for all these newer electrical power robbing cars, vans, etc. Again, thank you Amazon!UPDATE: I have tried this battery for the last few days and it just keeps on delivering power to my car. Now, my resting voltage is 14.4 volts and I can start my vehicle. 12 volt battery vehicle system is out dated. This battery keeps pushing power. In my opinion everyone should have this battery!

Just can't go wrong with XS batteries, and this puppy delivers. I went from 2 ohms down to 1 ohm now the bass hits so much stronger!!!!, with no dimming lights, and no strain on my alternator. Thanks XS batteries.

400 plus’s $ and this battery won’t start my car the first day it falls just below 40 degrees out side and Amazon doesn’t give you the option to return it won’t recommend I had on jumpers for an hour an still couldn’t get a good enough charge to start my car

this Battery fits in small spaces and it packs a wallup!!! 14.0 volts idle... definitely a boost for my sound system

Did not come with the top posts like it was supposed to. There’s no information to contact them or anything, I’m disappointed I spent so much for this battery for it not to come with everything included to use.
