Best pet treats made, great America Company
The review title says it all. Best treat, dogs love them, liver is great for dogs (as everything, in moderation) and awesome American company who stand behind their product. I got a batch with many small pieces (not their fault, due to Amazon doing things like throwing packages at your house while still 10 feet away). They sent me a new bucket in a week, no questions asked. Freeze drying is best process for raw liver and many other dog foods. Keeps most flavor and vitamins without unhealthy process of healing, especially at high temps. Stewart’ does it right, cares for your pet and employs Americans. I don’t write reviews unless I am 100% sure of a product and I have experienced the quality vs value. See pic if you don’t believe me. Buckets make for great reusable food containers. RECYCLE for your children/grandchildren.

Good for training
Saw these in a training video. My dog loves them. Used very occasionally b/c the price is high.

Highly recommended liver
Our two boxer dogs love these freeze dried chicken liver treats. I use them as treats, but I feel that they would be great for training treats as well. Highly recommended

Meal and treat training
I use these for supplements for my dogs meals and as treats for training. He absolutely loves them. He is an aggressive chewer so the crunch is perfect for him. He loves the flavor and the smell.

Major Decline in Quality
I have been buying these for probably ten years. The treats always had a light, pleasant, somewhat soft / crumbly texture with a light tan color, that was easy to break into smaller pieces for my cat. He loved them. In my latest order, these treats are now multiple shades darker (about the color of cola) and so hard that I'm not sure how anything but a big dog could even eat them without hurting their mouth. They're nearly impossible to break into smaller pieces for smaller animals. As a result, I have not given any of these to my cat. They seem burnt, old or simply improperly made. These treats are not of the same quality they used to sell. Perhaps it's now a different product altogether. I will have to find someone else who makes a similar chicken liver treat. It sure is strange watching multiple companies willingly ruin their products in real time.

Good treats, but deceptive packaging.
These treats seemed like a healthier alternative to some of the other treats I saw listed. I bought them for the Activities lady at my care center, who delivers my Amazon packages to me. She has a therapy dog that she brings to work, and the dog, Lily, is always sniffing around my room looking for snacks. She probably smells the snacks I have for myself, so I decided to get her some treats for when she comes in with my deliveries. Lily eagerly took one after sniffing it, then wanted more, so she must have liked the taste. After two bites, she still wanted more, but given how little was in the big container (it was barely 1/2 full), I decided to save the rest for future visits. Given the inexpensive price, it is a pretty fair deal. I only took off one star because the package made it look like there would be a lot more than there actually was. It does say there is only 1.5 oz in the container, but like most people, I was eyeing the container, not weighing it out in my head. I would prefer they put the treats in a clear package, so you can get a better idea of how much (or little) is in the container. The picture shown only has two small pieces taken out of it, and you can see how empty it looks.

Puppy loves this treat. Vet recommended.
My puppy ‘s favorite treat. Really motivates a dog or puppy. They are a bit chunky for my puppy but very easy to cut in half or thirds. Especially good for bigger breeds.

Chicken dog treats
Great treats for dogs but prefer the liver flavored due to the breakage and excessive powder in the chicken. Will order liver flavored from now on. Crumbles to easily, end up with bucket half full of powder.

My dog loves these. Just the smell alone is enough to grab her attention. So much so that I had her off lead outside and she wouldn't leave my side with these in hand. Her recall is a little sketchy as her distraction rate is high. These really kept her focussed and by my side. I would live give 5 stars but most of what I got was powder. Good for a food topper but not what I ordered or intended.

Too small pieces. Very crumbly and expensive

I suppose the clue should have been in the title but even though the product was freeze dried I was expecting a very different texture. I was expecting something akin to a dried jerky but these treats are very crumbly and powdery, they smell gross and the dog (who will genuinely eat anything!) turns her nose up at them. Not worth the money in my opinion.
