This leather rope necklace is perfect! It's smooth and soft against my neck and seems to be made very well. It has an easy plastic clasp that you can open and close in seconds. No more fiddling around with metal clasps so it's very easy to use . It goes with all of my crystals and other pendants and it's very versatile. The color is a smooth jet black, and it was well-worth the money because it's made very well. I chose a 24" (2mm) so the size is perfect for me. I like my pendants to be visible outside my hoodies and jackets so I chose mine to be a little longer. I highly recommend buying one of these leather rope necklaces because it looks like it will last quite a while. I've even showered with mine on and it dries in seconds! The rope is strong and I know it will last a while. I've searched for the perfect waterproof leather rope necklace for the longest time and this brand/seller is by far the BEST! It even comes with a soft black jewelry bag to store it in and it came in a lovely box with the brand name printed on it. This leather "chain" was exactly as I expected. I got this to carry ID, so it's not holding a lot of weight, and not put under much tension or stress. I ordered 26" length, and this is essentially spot on - maybe an 1/8th inch longer. The clasp works easily, and seems secure enough for my needs - no worries. The "chain" itself seems strong enough for my needs. Overall, it seems to be well made - good quality. I got a black "chain" with a black clasp. It looks great. I like the quality weave of the leather in the "chain". I was concerned that the leather might be stiff and uncomfortable, but it's not. It's great. The "chain" is very soft and supple / flexible, almost more so than paracord. It's very comfortable against my neck. This flexibility also makes it adaptable to a variety of uses / functionality - again, almost like paracord.

I like to wear various charm, pendants, and ID tags when I cycle. Most of them came without a necklace. I've been searching for what seems like an eternity for a plain, no frills, well made necklace with a strong clasp. That's been easier said than done! However, in finding this necklace, I think I've finally found my Holy Grail of necklaces for random charms,pendants, and ID tags. Thoughts: 1. Styling is very plain and unassuming, but not at all cheap looking. 2. The 20 inch length is perfect for me and my desire to have something close to my clavicle area but not as short as a choker. 3. The rope material does not bleed color from my experience and is well made and strong. 4. The clasp is very good. In my photos, that scorpion charm weighs nearly 2 ounces, bounces all over the place during a given ride, but this necklace hasn't come loose once. Overall, for my intended use, this necklace is absolutely perfect. I wanted something durable, with a strong clasp and this absolutely excels in both cases. As a standalone fashion item, it wouldn't be something I'd buy. However, as just a plain, unassuming necklace to use with any manner of charm, pendant, or ID tags, it's wonderful. I think this is a very solid value and I feel very comfortable recommending it! Cheers!

Strong magnetic closure for the clasp. Looks very sleek. No hair pulling due to its design. Comfortable. Recommended for children, those with sensory issues and those with long curly hair.

I bought a few of these to wear with some of my pendants, and I was happy with them at first. They seemed to be good quality, they looked nice with my pendants, and I liked the sleek style. I was careful not to get them wet or anything, and have not experienced any fraying. However, I did notice after a while that I would get headaches whenever I wore them. Which I thought was strange, I became very cautious about it, since I am a sensitive individual with chemical sensitivities, and I have MCAS, so lots of little things trigger me. I was thinking, since this is supposedly made of recycled leather, that perhaps it had some chemical or lead in it that was giving me headaches, so I contacted the seller, and they said it was lead-free. But then I asked them if they actually tested, and they never gave me a straight answer for that, which I find suspicious. So while I have had no issues with the quality of these necklaces, unfortunately, I have to stop using them because they make me sick; one also left a rash on my neck recently. So there's that.

Soy Dermatólogo... Y mi hija tiene dermatitis por contacto a joyería de fantasía. He vuelto a pedir 3 más, ahora de 3 mm, dos en negro y uno en rosa. Calidad y hechura excelentes. Y después del primer año, mi hija lo sigue pudiendo usar casi a diario sin problemas de eccema. Super, super recomendable para pieles delicadas (aunque siempre hay idiosincrasia en la forma de reaccionar).
