Swanson Full Spectrum N-Zimes 90 Veg Capsules Enzyme

I think these are working. I will be purchasing again. I take 4-5 with the meal.

My hubby for years had a stomach-emptying problem; it was slow (he felt full for a very long time after eating, and time upon exit was ~3 days).I thought Enzymes might help, so got him these.They did help, but also he'd had a bad habit of drinking copious amounts of beverage with his meals, which is no help at all for the important process of digesting food.The stomach acid and enzymes are SUPPOSED to be strong in order to break down tough plant material and meat fibers- so the next stages of digestion can occur after the food empties out of the stomach.The stomach enzymes & gastric juices having been diluted too much, his process of digestion took much longer than it should've.The food's aroma & flavor cause saliva to activate as we chew, to make chewed food the proper consistency for swallowing (that's saliva's main purpose- that and keeping the inner throat from getting dry) as there are early function enzymes in saliva too.So- during meals only an occasional teeny sip of his beverage if he really feels the need.The two changes made his digestive system work much better. His timing to excrete is regular now and it's not any 3 days long!

Used to use lactaid chewables, these are easier to take and worked better for me. I like that they have enzymes to help with digestion of other foods.I also take daily proton pump inhibitor capsules, which help at night.These help anytime that I eat anything with lactose?
