Solid, reliable, variable speed...pup and I are happy!
My pup hates nail trimming but has mellowed to the Dremel. Lower speed settings reduce noise, and she has accepted trimming now. The trimming guard helps me regulate how much nail I'm taking off (black nails, thick) and can round off trimmed nails. Went with Dremel as I've used their tools before and the quality is good, didn't fully trust other brands due to poor reviews on battery/power etc. Can always buy other Dremel attachments to utilize tool for other projects as well. I hated using clippers as did the pup.

This is awesome works on a professional level.
This is great. I bought one before this just one of those mail trimmers with the diamond grinder it was a joke after getting this one I now see how bad the other one was. This is like a professional groomer tool. This has power and grinds the mail so fast it’s great. With my old one I had to do one nail forever this takes seconds and your done. So much better quality this is a solid tool with a little weight to it witch is good. It’s wireless and rechargeable but that doesn’t effect the strength and speed because it works super good. I absolutely love it and wish it was my first buy. Now I tell people about it so they don’t make the same mistake. It works really well and grinds the nails super quick ( please remember when cutting your dogs nails that these heat up and the heat goes to the nail so please if your doing your dogs nails please remember to grind for a second and then take a break so it doesn’t heat up and hurt or burn them witch makes them pull away. You could stop for a min or goto the next nail and then go back to it cause it gets hot in seconds). I definitely recommend this dremel for anyone. I don’t always do my dogs nails I take him to the groomer because I don’t feel safe getting down low on the nail but grinder makes it so much easier for me to keep them shorter in between the groomer since they grow fast. This grinder grinds the mail right back down so fast and I feel much safer to grains gradually instead of cutting. This was definitely a great purchase. Also if you have a dog that doesn’t like there nails done the one and two speed is pretty quiet and it’s so quick that you can get it done quicker and less stress in your pup. It comes with a few disks and pieces to get you started so you can see what works best for you. The sanding disks hold up or last pretty good to. All around great tool

Pawsitively Easy and Safe Nail Trimming!
The Dremel PawControl Dog Nail Grinder and Trimmer has been a game-changer for my pet care routine. This tool offers a safe and humane way to keep my dog’s nails trimmed, avoiding the discomfort and stress often associated with traditional clippers. The grinder is designed to gently file down the nails, reducing the risk of cutting too close to the quick. The device is user-friendly, with adjustable speed settings that allow me to customize the grinding to my dog’s comfort level. It’s also relatively quiet, which is a big plus for my noise-sensitive pup. The ergonomic design makes it easy to hold and maneuver, ensuring a smooth nail-trimming experience. However, it’s important to note that some dogs may need time to get used to the sensation of grinding. Patience and gradual introduction are key. Also, while the grinder is effective, it might take longer than clipping, especially for dogs with thicker nails. Overall, the Dremel PawControl Dog Nail Grinder and Trimmer is a fantastic investment for pet owners looking for a stress-free way to maintain their dog’s nail health. And for a dad joke: Why do dogs dislike computers? They can’t press the “paws” button!

OMG! The best nail grinder I’ve ever had.
I highly recommend this nail grinder to all dog owners. My new puppy didn’t like getting her nails trimmed so I went on a mission to find a nail grinder she wouldn’t mind and I found it. I purchased several and this is the only one she had no problem with. It works so well you have to be careful not to over grind. It literally takes me less than 5 minutes to trim her nails and there’s almost no flinching. To get the sander at the right height is a pain and the case around the sander can also be a pain, but once you have the depth set correctly then this device is a dream. Easy to use and easy to swap for new sanders. I wish I had found this sooner.

Great Upgrade
I use this twice a month when grinding down the nails of my 5 dogs and I only have to charge it once. I purchased diamond bits for it and it works wonderfully. My dogs still resist and the noise (although it is much quieter than my old one) still startles them but the job is much much easier!

Used it for a few years now... It's great!
We have used this for a few years now and because of a non replaceable battery it finally is being replaced. *NOTE - That said, I highly recommend not leaving this plugged in for over 1 days to recharge. I believe that is why it stopped so soon. Here is info you need to choose the tool right for you pups! •Dog Sizes: We use this for our 2 dogs: (Medium/Large Size) Black Lab & Border Collie Mix, (Small Size) Chihuahua •Sound: It's a little noisy because it's grinding nails, but that said, it is gentler because the quick doesn't get squished/squeezed like when nails are clipped. •Get Dog Used To Tool: This is a new item to your dog and it has both sensations and sounds that they are not used to. So follow guidelines in instructions to get them used to the device before actually using it to grind their nails. Funny thing is that my big dog is fine with loud noises, but he is uncomfortable with how the vibrations feel. It took him a few weeks to get used to it. If I wait too long in-between grindings, he pulls his paws away to rebel for a little bit. Then I show him the regular clipper and he lays back and lets me get 1/3 of his nails trimmed. Lol! My little dog likes it because she hates the big squeezing feeling when clipping her nails. She tells me no at first - she doesn't like her paws touched, but then she just chills. She is silly and sweet. Lol! • Directions: The directions are great for this product! Follow them and you will have content pups and very good results! • Tools Necessary: We use this grinder for our dogs and it came with everything that I believe is useful for the safe removal of their nails. Example. If your dog pulls or moves his paws while grinding, there's a safety cover that helps to keep the parts you are not using from cutting your dog by accident. The cap is clear plastic so I can see what I'm doing and to know when to shake out ground up nail powder. It can smell bad if you go to fast. **So take breaks so your dog's quick/paw doesn't get hot and uncomfortable. And there are a few different speeds to choose from in order to go as slow as necessary for little dog nails and quicker for thick longer, big dog nails. Also there's a drum and a flat disc. Use the one that you are comfortable using, to grind using different methods. There are a lot of videos out there that give all kinds of advice. Go with what is good for your dog's needs and your dexterity level and patience. And patience is key. This is not a contest. It's a way to take care of your pup and save money and time! • Battery Life/Capacity:.This seems to hold a decent charge. Now I never have tried to get both dogs nails all ground down in one sitting. My back and my husband's back just don't last that long anymore. Lol! So we can get our little dog done in one sitting and still have a charge to start on my big dog's nails. Besides he only has enough patience to let us use it long enough to get about one and a half of his paws done. And then it starts to slow down. So now we start with our big dog that needs a higher speed and a longer time to get one to two paws done. Then we can do our little dogs nails and finish. • Heating Up : This is a grinder. It's a machine that spins a disc and deals with friction, so it heats up! That said, it's perfectly normal for this to happen. It doesn't heat up the motor when we do our little pup's nails. But the resistance and amount of time required to grind our big pup's nails heats things up. So take breaks and give your pup some treats and positive attention. The machine cools off in a few minutes and then we resume grinding. Final Thoughts So longevity has been good! And function is excellent. Just follow great instructions in the users manual! The quality has been great! The ease of use took a little time because I had never used a grinder before. But my husband found it easy to use. I figured out how to get the dogs used to the sound and slowly get our big chicken, I mean dog used to the vibration. Looking back I was worried, but everything turned out fine. My husband had good info on how to hold and position the tool to each dog's nails, so as to grind the right amount and the desired shape. Yeah teamwork! So all the above to say that we Highly Recommend this product! And we believe you and your pups (mattering their disposition), will finally think getting their nails trimmed is not so bad. The price is fair. Life is about time verses money, so This Saves Money as Compared To getting your dog's nails Professionally Trimmed, even at a local pet supply store. We had a good experience with our relatively chilled and relaxed dogs. I hope my review helps you choose what is right for you and your pup! But to be clear... We Highly Recommend This Dog Nail Grinder!

THIS WORKS!!
This is an outstanding item.It actually is silentt and powerful.Unfortunately bought a well advertised tool before this which was ridiculously cheap and ineffective( a "silent groom" ).I recommend the Dremel because its more powerful and can handle thicker nails and comes with many attachments.

Good Product, But Received Used and Missing Parts — Frustrating Experience
I received this Dremel PawControl used and missing parts, including the charger, and the sandpaper attachments were completely worn down. I tried to get a replacement, but my only option was to return and reorder. Since I bought this during a Prime Day promotion, reordering meant spending more money upfront, which was frustrating. I contacted Amazon support, and they said I’d have to return the item and reorder, then they would refund the price difference later. Because I already had a compatible charger and attachments, I asked for a partial refund due to the hassle and the very used condition of the product. As for the tool itself, I do like that it’s rechargeable, but the battery life is disappointing. It usually dies or noticeably weakens by the 3rd paw of the 4th dog. For someone with fewer dogs or who works faster, it might be fine, but for me, it’s just okay. Overall, the product works well when charged but the purchase and battery issues made this less than ideal.
