Garcima13-inch Stainless Steel Paella Pan, 32cm

This purchase was specifically to use as a roasting pan in my wood fired pizza oven. It performed so well for this purpose I find myself reaching for it every occasion I need a roasting pan, whether I'm using the pizza oven or not. I'm sure it would work great for it's intended purpose, paella, however it's smaller size would put limitations on that dish.

This stainless steel paella pan is perfect for smaller paellas. It cleans easily, and keeps its non-stick surface with basic maintenance (after washing and rinsing, heat it on a burner to evaporate the water. Put a small amount of oil to coat the heated dry pan, remove from heat and wipe thoroughly with clean paper towel). My family loves this pan! It is good for cooking breakfast as well!

Ok. Here's my follow-up to replacing the non-stainless pan. A thicker pan won't cool off fast enough to keep from burning the rice because it holds too many BTUs. This pan is supposed to be thinner to get that "socarrat" texture to the rice without burning it. All I can say is this: Do not get the non-stainless version, you'll just waste your money.. After the very first use, it immediately convinced me that this is THE ONE. There's no discoloration, no sticking, no problems. Wow. Just...Wow.

I created for the first time a delicious and crusty bottom paella. I order also the 10” pan.

The pan is a great size for regular size gas burner. But there was a minor “bump” on the pan. For the price, I was disappointed.

I have 2 other paella pans, but this one is the bomb! It makes great paella and cleans up like a dream.

It’s great but not suitable for stove top.
