Women's German Dirndl Dress Costumes 3 Pieces for Oktoberfest Carnival

My husband and I have been doing German fests for over a decade and I finally committed to the dress. We went to Munich for Oktoberfest on our honeymoon so I know what authentic looks like. This is a decent piece! Looks much better than the flimsy 1-piece costumes. Matches my authentic hat from our trip. I bought socks to go with to complete the outfit. For a reasonable priced more authentic looking piece this fits the bill. Sizing: I’m a pear shape, wear Carhartt/Old Navy 16 pants and size large (12/14) tops. The dress fit well and can be tightened. The top is a little big on me but I can fix that. Being 2 different sizes makes buying all in one items a challenge.

Very well made! Good quality. The blouse is very short & feels weird but it works just fine. I will finish it off with white stockings & maybe clogs, then it’s off to the German Christmas market! Sized up & fits well.

I purchased the black dirndl with navy apron and liked elements of the 3-piece set but ultimately returned it because of the fit of the dress. PROS: - Well made with pretty embroidery at the bodice and on the bottom of the apron. - Flattering crop top with just the right amount of puff in the sleeves and a neckline that is well suited for an updo. It has a modest neckline so keep looking if you want to show off cleavage. CONS: - Dress was too big. I ordered a medium based on the measurements but, even after cinching the front ties as tight as possible, it was still too loose. The apron can be used to define the waist if it’s loose but I didn’t like how much extra fabric was at my chest and I’d ordered another dirndl that fit better. For reference, I’m a 36B with a 30” waist and typically wear a size 6-8 top.

I am embarrassed to admit that I did not expect to love this Dirndl as much as I do, simply because of the relatively low price compared to many others. I was delighted by the look and feel of the dress, and the recommended size for the measurements I took fit perfectly. The quality is either extremely good for a costume or a little basic for wearing every day; the construction is good enough to hold up all day at Oktoberfest, for sure. I had zero problems dancing, moving, and sitting comfortably. It accommodates a petticoat very nicely if you like the extra poofiness, and looks amazingly graceful as you move. I had so many compliments - totally worth it! The blouse is adjustable to make the fit just right, as is the lacing on the bodice. The side zipper on the bodice makes getting in and out a snap without ruining the look of the front. I do really love the colors of the Dirndl, blouse, and apron, but if you want a fancier garment, you could add some piping or swap out a fancier blouse and apron. However, this definitely will get the job done for a wide variety of costuming or Oktoberfest needs. I loved it and will be finding excuses to wear it!

I have to admit, at first I was skeptical about the quality because the fabric felt thin and flimsy and came very wrinkled. But the wrinkles came out really easy with some heat, and the dress, skirt, and blouse looked AMAZING. The colors were vibrant, the fit was pretty true to the size chart, and the embroidery was my favorite part—very eye catching! I got TONS of compliments! I suggest going all out with a petticoat, a bra with some lifting power, and some cute shoes for the max effect.

This item fits me perfectly. The quality is pretty good too, I just wish the side zipper was a bit more sturdy but it works and the outfit is just perfect! I may come back and add a photo, we are doing a Thrill the World Thriller dance on Saturday dressed up as Zombie Beer Garden gals! Side bonus, this is nice enough to wear for the Octoberfest events in our area. Thank you!

Costume is great, fits true to size, good quality. I did add the petticoat knee length slip to give a more full look.

Maat S gekocht, mijn gewone kledingmaat en dat past perfect. Beschrijving, maat en kleuren als verstrekt en op foto. Lijfje van jurk heeft dubbele laag stof zodat borduursel en haakjes zijn weggewerkt. haakjes zijn stevig bevestigd. Rok van de jurk is enkel laags stof en wat dun maar dat is dan ook het enige 'min' puntje. Borduursel is prachtig. Blinde rits aan de zijkant, van boven tot ruim doorlopend in de rok. Bovenlijfje kun je met de lintjes wat strakker maken. De stof plooit daaronder vanzelf en valt niet op. Schort heeft echt lange linten en opnieuw prachtig borduursel. Korte blouse waar niks mis mee is. Alles netjes afgewerkt en het is zeker géén carnavalskwaliteit. Snelle levering tot slot.

Well made and good quality cotton dress , apron and blouse. Looks good on and will wash well. I am size 10 and got the small size and it’s great. (I originally ordered a medium which was maybe a 12-14 so was too big)
