Milliard Organic Cacao Powder/Non-GMO and Gluten-Free (5 lbs)

This is the stuff. Very fine powder. No junk additives. Not roasted, so it retains all properties. Cacao is not sweet at all, sort of pleasantly bitter, in the way that black coffee is. Can successfully overwhelm a lot of bitter vitamin powders. Blender is better than mixing by spoon.Try using 10 grams, about 25 cc, which is about 1 protein powder scoop (check capacity on bottom of your scoop) to your regular morning power shake Cacao does not include scoop, but many protein powders do.The zip lock bag is not great for daily use, so better to decant into a wide mouth plastic jar. Look around, you'll find something. Put whatever fits in your jar, you can store the rest in the bag. The jar will be better for daily use.Goes well with some JUCE garden berry vitamin power, which is sweet & nicely balances the Cacao. A half JUCE scoop may be enough. I mean the scoop that comes with JUCE, it's a smaller scoop.Cacao can give you a bit of a boost, but without the caffeine jitters. Probably better for morning. Anyway, this is the real stuff. Very good. Usually cheaper in the bigger bags, do your math to see what is best for you & how long it might be for you to use the whole bag.

Fine powder, good flavor. I've purchased this a couple of times now. No problems with effectiveness, flavor, freshness, etc.Fiber is 1 gram per 5 gram serving. Some brands indicate 6 grams or 10 grams or 15 grams for their serving size, and so the fiber is based on that (ie 2 or more). This has 1 gram, possibly a hair more. Not as much as some, but fairly close. Again take note of the weight (grams), and not just volume (tablespoon). Use more if you need to. Price is very good.

Delicious! I use it in my coffee daily with some maple syrup. It lasted me 1 year!

Good quality, nice flavor and reasonable pricing of this cacao powder make it a great staple healthy food providing you with antioxidants and immune system boosts. The only complaint is the cheap seal of the bag making it impossible to close it again.

I use this for overall wellness and to help my immune system with the antioxidant properties this contains the highest amount of anything naturally acquired on the planet to the best of my knowledge. Overall great product, easy to mix, great taste, and the texture is perfect. I'll be using this for better health as long as they're selling it!

Update: Tuesday, December 8, 2020. I’m 61 years old. I’ve been using this product now for 2+ years. I purchase a 5 pound bags every time. I am a fitness person, I check my blood pressure at home, temperature, exercise daily and a very healthy eater. My BMI is under 25. I’ve been training since I was 39. This is an excellent deal. This cacao powder, I use it every day, once again every day 1 tablespoon on my whole grain cereal. Stop fretting about the very nice price. Enjoy the very nice price! with this update I’m on my 3rd, 5 pound bag. I’m not switching to a higher price product because it’s a higher price product. I’m sticking with this product here.I am on my second 5 pound bag. As a consumer, you want to question why this brand sells so for much less than other brands. I’m a consumer and I asked myself the same question. I’ve asked & now, I just accept the fact that this is good cacao powder at a lesser price. Let me add, I don’t find this powder to have a bad aftertaste. I do think it has minimally less “Deep chocolatey“ flavor. But make no mistake - it does have a good chocolate flavor. If you are unfamiliar with cacao powder you may not even notice any difference. But for the HUGE price differential, it’s not a deal killer “not at all.” As I said, if you’re not used to cacao powder - you won’t know the difference. That’s why I did not rate the overall product a five. It’s a sound “very solid” four rating. I use it every morning on my whole grain cereal. As I said previously, I am on my second 5 pound bag. I also want to add that I’m not a “namebrand person.” I shop for value. I don’t shop for cheap; I shop for value. And, there’s difference. This brand of cacao powder is a good value, a good buy. I will be buying again. Now you have to make your choice. PS, I’m into fitness, overall health and healthy eating.

I've tried several brands. I love Milliard's because the quality is excellent and the price is reasonable. This Cacao is raw and organic & tastes wonderful! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
