Atlantic Onyx 28 Wire DVD-Tower - Holds 28 DVDs/Blu-Rays or PS3 Games, Wall Mount or Freestanding in Black Steel, PN 1331

I had purchased the 28 DVD rack and absolutely loved it! I use it as a wall mount and I have never had any problems whatsoever. Since my first purchase I have purchased others to store my large collection of games, DVD's, and Blu-Rays. I have 4 of the 28 DVD racks and one of the CD racks listed on a different page. Blu-rays do wobble in the rack because the cases are slightly smaller than a DVD case. Also, the racks have two large openings for things like computer games which sometimes come in the double size DVD box. I have mixed feelings about the larger openings because that might be good for video games, but DVD's don't usually come in a double size box. The openings are too small to fit something like most DVD box sets, but I just put two DVD's in the spot and they fit fine with a little space to spare. I also found an issue with DVD's and games that come with cardboard slip covers over the case. Most DVD's won't fit into the openings if the thin cardboard slip cover is on the case. So these units work best with a regular DVD case with no promo cover. One final downside is that I usually use my own mounting screws because the unit has four mounting holes but only comes with two mounting screws. I suppose that the intention is to mount the unit from the two top holes, but I personally feel more secure knowing all four holes are anchored because I have these hanging over my TV and my computer screen.When these units are mounted they are very sturdy, and they keep everything nice and organized. Overall I am very pleased with this product. I plan to purchase more as I have a need for more storage space. I hope they never discontinue this product. Despite the fact that mentioned some negative aspects of the unit I do highly recommend them. I love them and they are perfect for my needs.

Due to limited space I store my seasonal fall and winter movies with that seasons decor. The space I would normally put them under the TV is no longer available and I needed something else. Enter this DVD tower which fits the bill perfectly.As this will only be used for a few months of the year I did not use the screw mounting kit that it came with and opted to use some extra long picture hanging tacks I had bought on Amazon a while ago. The tower has been up since the middle of September and shows no sign of falling. For the price and purposes this works brilliantly.

I apologize for the video quality and lack of sound, I used my BlackBerry to provide a quick video clip of the product in order to provide further support to my fully written review found below.Needing extra storage space for my video games and trying to avoid clutter and placing items on the floor, I decided to try out this nifty little DVD rack. The rack is sturdy, made of a solid metal frame that can support the 28 DVDs with little to no problem. Painted in solid black, it is a perfect color to accent any location to which it may be stored.The box comes with the DVD rack already put together and ready for mounting. Upon opening the box, the customer will notice a small plastic bag with two screws and two wall mounting brackets to hold the screws into the wall. The DVD rack itself contains a set of pre-drilled holes meant to allow the owner to easily mount the rack to a wall.I decided that due to the already cluttered space of my wall (too many posters), that the ideal location for this rack would actually be alongside my enclosed DVD bookshelf. The bookshelf is full to bursting with my large DVD collection, and the point of the rack was to allow myself extra storage for my video games. Simply placing the rack alongside the DVD bookshelf and marking the desired location and creating a small hole with a hammer and nail allowed me to easily insert the included screws into the desired locations that I had just created.The rack holds on very strongly to the side of the shelf, and even pulling on the rack in order to take out games does not move the rack in the least bit. A solid build quality that greatly accents my bookshelf. I am looking to purchase one more rack of the same size to place below the one I recently purchased in order to store more games along the side of my bookshelf.The shelf may be too heavy to have standing alone on the floor, but when placed on either a wall or a shelf of some kind, it remains strong and supportive regardless of the amount of discs that it is holding up. An overall excellent purchase and easy way to add storage space to any room.

I have 10 of these. I added rubber faucet washers and 2 more screws to each to secure them to the wall of my RV.Yes, the 2 screws may have been enough. Rubber faucet washers help hold them securely in place in a thin wall with a honeycomb structure. Added small bungees to hold the CDs in place too.

It was very easy to install. Even though it only came with two screws instead of four screws. It holds more games than I expected it would. And it is very solid. For the price it is definitely worth the purchase. I am excited for it to come back into stock because I need one more, possibly two more.

This is a fantastic dvd/blu ray storage rack. It holds up to 28 single-disc/standard case sets. There are even a couple wider rows at the bottom to hold larger dvd/ blu ray sets (perhaps small box sets or 2 disc special editions, etc.)It’s definitely sturdy, the metal is of high quality and can easily be positioned into the wall.I personally purchased it because I was running out of space on my main bluray/4k shelf which consists of theatrical films. This new rack I now have is a going to be for my side collection of tv compilation episodes, tv specials, tv films, direct to dvd films, etc. Basically anything non-theatrical, most of this stuff being from my childhood. I even dubbed it my “nostalgia collection”! And I’m super stoked about now having a separate place to configure these because they looked sort of out of place with my main collection of theatrically released films.Highly satisfied with this purchase and it was worth it for $14.99 🤘🏼
