Yes, it is a bit pricey.; but this is a great bag and I am very happy with it. If you want a good sized bag without looking like you are going camping, this is a good choice. I originally bought it for an overseas trip. During our sight seeing, I was able to carry layers for my wife and I, snacks, water, an APS-C camera, two lenses, tripod, batteries, and room for any souvenirs we bought. As a carry on, it can fit a lot of gear but still fit under the seat. I had a laptop, tablet, same camera and lenses with tripod, a jacket, and various small accessories. Since then I have been using it as a work bag, mostly just for carrying my laptop and accessories to and from work. For that purpose, the bag is much bigger than required, but it works fine. Looking forward to using it on my next work trip and the following vacation.Features I like:1. Deep side pockets with straps for taller items. Work great for any size water bottle or a tripod.2. A few interior pockets. Not an excessive number of interior pockets, but just enough to place key items to find quickly.3. Main compartments are big enough to be useful. Many bags have compartments that are only useful for papers, folders, or a couple text books. Who carries those anymore? These pockets fit all kinds of things. The main compartment easily fit my camera bag and any other bulky items I have. The secondary compartment fits several accessories and a sweater or light jacket.4. Cordura fabric - this is actually a really nice feature. It's rugged like nylon without being too stiff or scratchy. Even cheaper Ogio bags you see in stores like Target don't have this fabric and you can really tell the difference.5. Sternum strap: small touch but nice to have for longer days.6. Adjustable shoulder straps with load lifters: another nice thing to have when the bag is well loaded and getting heavy.7. Security pocket: a small hidden pocket, nice place to hide something you don't need regular access to, like a passport.

This is my 2nd pack from OGIO. It’s a great company. I wanted a another one. Some colors were more money than others. Went with the cheapest. Still the same bag. Super comfortable to wear. So many pockets and room for all kinds of stuff. Fits on a rollaway bag handle. Great padding for laptops. It has it all. Great warranty.

Fit my needs. Great tactical look that sets it apart from other backpacks. I love the MOLLE style straps on the front so I could interchange mix my own pouches as needed. Personally, I like to keep my stuff organized in separate containers and this bag has nice big, deep pockets so I can just drop the containers in place. This backpack can hold a LOT of stuff. I've gotten my 15" matchbook pro, iPad pro, all kinds of bags containing cables/connectors, medicine bags, glasses, jacket and still have room for plenty more. And that doesn't include the two additional pouches I connected tot he MOLLE straps in the front.

This backpack is huge - way bigger than I expected. I needed to replace my laptop backpack that I use to commute to work and to take when I travel. There is so much room in the main large compartment. I usually only pack my lunch in my previous bag and would have to shove my jacket in if I wasn’t wearing it hoping that my zippers would hold. That is not a problem with this bag. Like the product description says, the water bottle holders are deep and easily fits my 24 oz wide mouth Hydro Flask. I think they would also fit a 32 oz bottle but my 40 oz bottle couldn’t even get into the pocket.

Bought it for myself, as a college student I find all the pockets and sleeves very useful, I put all them to use. I also got the additional Alpha Mods to attach to it. My only complaint and its not really a complaint is its lack of more organization, which was in abundance on my previous backpack, the Ogio Bandit backpack, which had specific pouches and sleeves with emblems showing what they suggest you put into them. Other than that, an all-around great backpack with room for just about anything you could need.

I normally don’t write reviews but people need to know how good this backpack is. I’ve had it for 4 months but so far i’m in love with it. I bought it because it’s not bottom heavy. This thing can fit so much and has so many pockets, but not in an annoying way. I think it may be the perfect backpack.

no waist band? bag good dumb idea to compare it to a paper bag! at least get another mil bag or any bag.geez.

Great quality and larger than it looks in the photos so it holds my stuff well. It also has a few nice zippered pockets which isn’t perfectly clear in the photos or descriptions so I’m quite happy. Love the look and design as well.
