I am not "fix-it" inclined, so I was not sure about making this repair. But the small cost for the fan, etc. made this something I was willing to try. With help with the correct repair tools, and a 'you tube' video, I did the job. It was easy to do, and took only a few minutes to complete. The new fan was so quiet I barely heard anything and I could feel the air coming out the vent. It's now been several weeks, and everything is looking good. I am very pleased with this fan.

My hp 15db series was annoyingly loud. While the fan may not have been the only reason, cleaning up the heathsink assembly along the process of installing the fan hugely reduced the noise. My laptop now sounds like Tesla! Best $11 I have spent on a computer... Great quality and it comes with a heatsink compound, which if you open the heatsink assembly, I would strongly recommend cleaning it and adding new compound as it is a must every time you open the assembly.

I should of read the reviews, but I usually don't trust them anyway. My old fan died, installed this one, and after 2 weeks it started making a very loud, irritating noise. Worst of all can't return it unless new or unused? Don't buy this fan.

This fan also fits my old HP 15-ba113cl laptop. Minutes to install, quiet operation. My last replacement fan lasted just over two years, which seems reasonable. Some reports of early failure in the reviews are the only reason for not providing a 5 star overall rating after installation.

Worked great. Easy to install, but died in 4 months.

Best to view how to install on you tube or your manufacturer video first. They are a lot of small screws to take off (about a dozen). My original fan looked ok, not much dust. Replaced it anyways, as the old fan's other parts may have been causing the high-level startup noise; and I already took the laptop cover off per disassembly video. The new fan is very quiet and under $25.

Just received this fan for my HP 15-ay163nr. Installation is simple and it started right up. The fan is very quiet. I thought I should post this to mention that this product worked on my HP model.

Replaced my noisy fan with this exact fitting unit and was up and running in no time. Good value.

Got the fan today for my 15-AC109nx laptop, removed my original cpu fan, which lived 6 years with me, and put this one, it look decent and similar to the original, but you can tell it's not the same. Anyway it works fine it's silent and running good. I'll post in the future if anything changes.
