No Answer Key :(
Like the stories but should have an answer key to make it easy for parents.

They enjoy the short reading practice and reviewing their skills
I use these once or twice a week for my middle schoolers. They enjoy the short reading practice and reviewing their skills. We annotate the passage, read it together, and answer the questions individually or in small groups. Students really enjoy the passages, and the questions are well-worded to help them prepare for standardized testing. We enjoy this!

No answer key. A bit too easy.
Ok I really should have read more reviews — no answer key? Really? Who has time for that? Also, these selections are a bit too simple for 7th grade. I would recommend these if your child is actually behind in reading comprehension, but not for extra practice.

Well-thought out book
I homeschool an autistic middle school boy, and I really like this reading comp book. The articles are mostly non-fiction which is good for my son who has trouble with abstract plots. Also, it doubles as a social studies and history reference because of the unique and varied topics (from WWI fighter pilots to lemurs in Madagascar). Would recommend.

Good For Review
Easy to figure out the answers, even though it doesn't have an answer key. My student was able to prove all her answers from the text. Not quite on grade level, but good for students who need a extra support.

School Ends
We will start the book once school ends. I am hoping it will help with reading comprehension so my child's skills can improve.
