The Army Painter Hobby Knife - Stainless Steel Craft Knife with Soft Grip and 5 Extra Precision Blades - Craft Knife Set, Art Knife & Mouldline Remover for Metal and Plastic Miniatures

When I bought this product it was advertised as having stainless steel blades, but as soon as I started using it the blade completely rusted over in a very short time.

Although the value and overall comfort of the hobby knife is good, the quality is not. I am not sure if it is just mine or a manufacturing issue, but the locking mechanism for the blade does not work. It will not tighten enough to lock the blade in securely making it a safe risk. I had the same issue with the Army Painter Hand Drill, where the 3mm bit is between the jaw sizes and it has a tendency to slip and spin due to a lack of friction in the tightening mechanism. I like other Army Painter products, but was disappointed in the quality control of these two items.

It does the job well.Around the time I first got this in my hands it kinda fell apart after I was checking it out and twisting the tool to tighten/loosen. I didn't think all the pieces would fall apart. It was a bit confusing at a first when trying to out it back together. It was out back together after some time, though instructions would've made things easier

This is junk. After a month, the locking mechanism is loose and can't be tightened and it's a big threat to the user. I trashed mine.

Offre un buon rapporto qualità prezzo laddove altre soluzioni non sono poi così economiche per un neofita che potrebbe vedersi sopraffatto dai costi prima ancora di iniziare il suo percorso. Ergonomico, facile da usare e riporre, taglio preciso. Arriva corredato da un set di lamette di ricambio per non rimanere immediatamente a secco.

I had such high hopes. Unfortunately I only tried the knife out after the 'return window'. The quality looked good and when I first held it, I thought - wow this is really comfortable to hold and it is.I was using it to cut veneer and when cutting straight lines - perfect. However, I cut a shape and as I pulled the knife away, the blade stayed in the wood and the handle came away separately. I attempted to tighten the flange and tried again. Same problem.Extremely disappointed in this product - especially as it showed such promise. Not recommended for wood veneer work. It might be okay for paper - but I shall not be buying another.

Leider eine Fehlkonstruktion. Wie sehr man sich auch anstrengend, die Klinge bleibt nicht fest. Lockert sich immer wieder und würde irgendwann sogar herausfallen. Der Griff ist zwar toll geformt und von guter Qualität aber wenn ich die Klinge nach jedem dritten Schnitt wieder neu einspannen und festziehen muss leider sehr nervig und nicht zu empfehlen.

X acto la qualità delle lame è del cutter è indiscutibile. Affilatissimo. Con delle pietre per affilatura è praticamente eterno. Per tagliare il cuoio è il must.

No está mal. pero por el diseño que tiene lo tienes que agarrar de bastante arriba con lo cual pierdes precisión. Para tareas mas básicas va perfecto.
