I love other books by Charles Stanley’s and loved this book as well. He has a way of explaining things to make them easy to understand.

This book is so Biblical. It gives us the key to living a victorious Christian life and is practical in its approach. I must read for any believer in Jesus Christ.

Get it and read it for yourself. But it causes you to take a look at yourself. What I like to call self-examination.

This book is an eye opener, especially if you have never put much thought into the Holy Spirit and how He can change your life. It is not theory or one person's assumptions, but rather a book written with precision in regard to our one and only source of Truth - the Bible. Don't hesitate to buy this book. If you dive into it with a heart desiring to learn and a passion to know God deeper, it will certainly change your life.

I have not had time to read yet, but I am certain this book will be FABULOUS. The author is Pastor Charles Stanley, who I have read other books from. They are all do good and educational!!

I am in a weekly Bible study group. We are studying the Holy Spirit from this book. Amazon was one of the suggested places to get the book. It was delivered in plenty of time to start the class. This book has been very helpful to study during this class.

A really good book for new and long time Christians like myself, answering many questions about feelings we get on the journey. Why sometimes we feel we're not where we should be and what we can do about it. Will be recommending this book to my Christian friends and quite possibly will be ordering this book again in the future. Haven't read something that speaks to me the way this has, for ages.

It spoke to my heart so much, I cannot describe how vital this is to truly "walking with God". Have been seeking this change in my life - forever. I believe in doing what He says, not just reading it. It seems to be an ongoing process. Will need to keep doing so. Recommend to anyone wanting to go deeper.

Haven't quite finished it yet, BUT it is an AWESOME book!! Dr. Stanley is amazing!!! Learned a few new things for my spiritual growth!!

I went straight to the Chapter on Baptism in the Holy Spirit. The author misses out all the scriptures that do not support his cessasionist views and his arguments are illogical: he decries the experiences of those who have experienced baptism with the Holy Spirit which occur just as is described in the Bible yet tries to argue that his non experience is correct. I have yet to read the rest of the book and have no doubt that as he is a believer in Christ, and therefore a child of God, he will indeed have been led by the Holy Spirit but certainly not on this matter.
