LORAC Alter Ego Dream Girl Eye Shadow Palette

These shadows are really nice as long as you go into it knowing that they are a different formula than the LORAC shadows that come in the Pro or Unzipped Palettes. These are definitely lighter and softer shades, but they are great for soft spring and summer looks. I would definitely recommend a primer anytime you use these, and if you want a deeper more opaque look then apply them wet.

The colors are very pretty, but they are not very pigmented which makes them somewhat difficult to apply. I was really looking forward to using the purple shade but it's quite hard and not very smooth when applied. I keep it around just in case because it's certainly not the worst palette I've ever bought, but I wouldn't purchase this palette again. I will stick with Urban Decay from now on!

I love this palette but the only con is that I get a lot of fallout when I'm applying. The colours however blend very well and has a nice consistency. Not too powdery or too sticky

I got this palette form the Lorac website along with the Alter Ego: Heartbreaker palette and I truly love them both. I don't understand why some people are complaining about these not being pigmented, because I found these to be quite charged with color (added pictures for reference, with and without flash). All of these colors go on the lid quite smoothly and do last on you, given that you use a primer (but we all know that's basic by now). The colors are truly gorgeous, and as you can see in the pictures, they do pack a good punch, thought the ONLY shade that wasn't QUITe as pigmented was the purple, but you can still layer it on and it does work wonderfully (plus it has a gorgeous shimmer to it). I've been using this palette a lot and I can't be more in love with it. I recommend you get the Heartbreaker, too!Keep in mind most of the shades are shimmery, though not overly so. They truly are beautifully made and they are a joy to use and play with. You can create so many looks with this palette! Give it a try.

this palette has perfect summer colors, the formula is on point, and i find the colors pretty unique..

I would have returned this item if I was able to. The shadows were practically invisible. Forget this palate and buy Lorac's PRO palate. It's night and day better. I gave this one away.

Such awesome colors and they go with everything! I use my fingers to apply and it has lasting power. I love it so much, I bought a 2nd one for my travel bag. Highly recommend!!
