God I friggin love these pencils. I've been buying this same product from various Wal-Marts for years, but hate colors other than black or that semi-translucent black, that you sort of want to call gray, but it's definitely not gray, it's definitely black or maybe a very dark brown... people who play D&D are more likely to know the color I'm talking about, and unfortunately I either didn't see that option on here or clearly don't know what that color is called so I just went with black. Point is, that is an available option, and I like that.Pros: Having the mechanism for pushing our the lead on the side allows you to extend it without having to reorient your entire hand. I like this. Having the cap be fully removable means that your eraser doesn't wear down from being perpetually removed and replaced and end up falling out on its own causing you to lose your lead. Also, it allows for a longer eraser, which is nice.Cons: The clip on the side is cheap plastic and WILL break if you either use the clip in anyway at all ever, even once, but also if you put the pencil in your pocket. Also, it usually won't break off all the way, so you still end up with a little stub where the clip connects, and this will get caught on things in your pocket. Should you own one of these pencils long enough, you will one day reach into your pocket only to discover that the main sheathe of the pencil where the cap/eraser assembly attaches has cracked or broken around where it attaches to the eraser assembly because of that stub. I've bought several of these pencils over the years and bought the 12 pack box of these because I've finally accepted the fact that this design flaw has broken 6/6 pencils of this brand/model that I've owned, and will continue to plague all future ones I own.Overall: I rated this product 5 stars because I really do love these pencils. They're comfortable, the pencil/writing aspects of them are designed in the ways that I want my mechanical pencils to be designed. The erasers are long, the click is satisfying, the pencil itself is comfortable.

These are the best mechanical pencils. They are sturdy and have a nice grip. I love the bigger eraser. Definitely worth the price!

These are my absolutely favorite pencils in the world. When I discovered that I could buy them in bulk (this 12 pack) on Amazon, I immediately added this to my cart. I dread normal pencils you have to sharpen so naturally, I love mechanical pencils and these are (at least in my opinion) the best there are. You click the side of the pencil for more lead to come out and although it might seem odd/strange at first, this is a great advantage because this is what allows the eraser of the pencil to be extremely long. [If you've had experience with other lead pencils that advance lead through clicking the top where the eraser is, you notice that the eraser is really small.] Therefore, these last a really long time, although, I personally like to use a new one once it starts wearing out. (That's about the only downside of these lead pencils; the grip turns darker over time from usage and since the barrel is clear, you can see build up of lead "stains" on the interior.)My only other complaint pertains my seller's shipping...my pencils arrived in the original packaging with just a shipping label slapped on top of it. Thankfully USPS handled these with care (not to say that these pencils are fragile, but they lacked padding/support) and none of the pencils were damaged. I was also dissatisfied that there was a piece of trash inside my packaging...I don't know if this sticker peel wadded up in a ball was supposed to serve as padding but if that was its intended purpose, then I find it extremely cheap of the seller.

Good quality and durable. Ordered for my 10 year old and he is a heavy hand. Works great!

The pencil is okay with a great eraser for a mechanical pencil; however, the lead is NOT blue as stated under "highlights." The lead erases poorly in a Bible.

These are my daughters absolute favorite pencils. She says they write so smoothly. Comfortable grip, the eraser twists up for use and has a click button for the led rather than clicking the eraser.

My son won one of these pencils in class and said if he could always use them he would LOOK FORWARD to doing his homework! Next move was definitely to order more of them (: He particularly likes the adjustable eraser, finger grips, and way the lead looks on paper. He says, “They just feel so nice to write with!”
