I bought these to hold the bottom panel of my Hotbin shut. They are very strong, very durable (the fabric they're made from won't rot even through a full winter outside), and easy to use. They definitely do the job for my Hotbin and I've also used them to fasten down covers on the garden furniture, and to hold things closed. I am very pleased with them.

I would say these are ok for medium duty tie down. There are definitely other items that are more suitable for heavy items. However these are very good for lighter weight use..

To start of with a seemingly unrelated issue; its really hard to find a garden set cover that fits. We own an uncommon size of table so finding a cover to fits to some extend was a time consuming exercise. And it still has excess cover material flapping in the wind! and this doesn't help the durability of the cover and increases the risk of leaks.I’ve tried to secure it with ropes but it is hard to apply pressure and get them tight. And it's a hassle to untie them on a frequent basis. So to finally get to the point, a much more practical and more slightly solution are ratchet straps.These straps neatly do the trick. So far I am quite pleased. The cover-up job was more easily done than usual, the result looks acceptable and the garden set should be able to withstand wind and rain for a few years in this manner. The straps seem to be study and durable - I was able to put a lot of weight and pressure on to secure them tightly.

Can only comment on two of them as that’s all I’ve used so far but perfect grip off the fasteners. Simple to use, thread end through fastener and tighten!

Bought to secure a dog cage in my car. Can’t tighten enough due to no ratchet. Twisted cord when tight and couldn’t undo. Had to cut them off with a knife.

Good for the bike rack.
