Q: i cannot seem to remove the bits from the bed it seems to be sticking to well (pla) outlines

I use glue stick in my bed. They just pop off when they’re done and the bed cools. I work with petg as well and it works with that also even at the higher temperature

Q: I am replacing a 235mm glass plate. Should I go for the 1mm or the 1.8mm thickness?

It's up to you! I personally would go for the 1.8mm but it will take the bed longer to heat up. Which ever one you choose, you will have to do a bed levelling.

Q: At start of printing filament does not adhere to bed totally useless. Help

Lots of reasons but usually distance of nozzle from bed,clean bed,temperature etc. Try printing an outline first.

Yes, the print volume is 220 x 220 but the bed size is 235 x 235
