Very useful during winter to warm hand.

Amazing, just great so far
This works far better than I expected; exceeding the chemical packs and lighter fluid alternatives by far. Heats up quick. I have only used the low and medium settings; high/hot must be incredible. This is UL listed so I have a bit more faith in the LiIon battery quality. The phone charging capability is nice, but given the choice I would give that up for a small LED light; that would be perfect. I have used only on ~30 minute dog walks so far. After 4 walks it still has 2/3 battery indicators lit. I don't know yet how long it could go running for an extended time.

The Little Warmer That Could
This little device has been a huge game changer. My office is seemingly always cold. This device gives me moments to warm my hands between projects. It’s convenient and portable. My only gripe about this is on low settings, warning both sides, it’s battery life doesn’t last as long as I’d expect or hope. I don’t know if that’s a defect or expected, but I’m too lazy to pursue. It gets the job done and I can easily recharge it when I leave for lunch.

Its Micro USB yo
Works well, can get quite hot. It charges a little slowly but it lasts quite a while so I get it. Its got one button. But I can't give it five stars because its not USB-C, its Micro USB. It comes with a small cable but I had to really hunt for another one in my cable drawer. I really really hate Micro USB

2 Years in and I CAN NOT recommend the Zippo HeatBank 9S
I've been trying to use this for 2 years and as much as I want to recommend this and give it 5 stars, unfortunately I can not. It works but there is one issue that renders the HeatBank 9S useless and this is also consistent with all of Zippo's rechargeable handwarmers as well, in my experience. It also appears that Zippo has not addressed this issue and continues selling the same faulty products. I first purchased this for the winter season of 2020 and it worked great. After winter I had no reason to continue to use it so I put it away. Come winter season of 2021 and the unit did not accept a charge. I contacted Zippo customer service, notified them of the issue and they replaced it quickly. The new replaced unit worked for the winter season of 2021 and after the winter season, I put it away. Now again, winter 2022, the newly replaced unit is not accepting a charge and now it's out of warranty. What makes this even more of a problem is the rechargeable batteries are "not serviceable" so you can't replace them, at least not easily and you have to know what you're doing but that may not even fix the problem. I purchased a HeatBank 3 and a HeatBank 6 for family members dlin 2020 and both of those units experienced the same exact issue a year later except they went out of warranty and nothing could be done. I ended up purchasing a Celestron ThermoCharge 10, shortly after my initial Zippo HeatBank 9S purchase in 2020, as a backup and it has worked flawlessly and is still working. If Zippo would address this issue and correct it, I would happily return to Zippo's rechargeable handwarmers but as of 10/31/2022, I will not waste money and I can not recommend this product at all. I've heard people make ridiculous claims that you have to continue charging it throughout the year, even though you're not using it, but I haven't experienced this issue with any other rechargeable handwarmer or any other rechargeable li-ion product that I do not use regularly throughout the year. Zippo, fix this issue, perform better R&D and get better quality control and this will be a no brainer. For the price, this should be a no brainer.
