PHITUODA 3 Inch / 75mm Heavy Duty Floor Stop, Door Stopper Stainless Steel Brushed Nickel - Pack of 1

This is a permanent, solid solution when a door needs a doorstop anchored to the floor, rather than to a wall. Three screws secure it to the floor if it's wood or wood based; plastic expanders are provided if you need to attach it to a concrete floor.

After major renovations to the house, we were not happy with the hinge mounted stopper that used to be on the front door hinge to keep the knob from hitting the wall, and we didn't want to add a plate to the wall for the knob to hit. Because of the threshold, the height of the door was a little too much for the domed stoppers that we'd put on the floor for the interiors. This stopper was the perfect solution. Three holes to drill in the floor near the baseboard for a quick installation. At three inches, the stopper is plenty tall for the door, the rubber stopper adds some cushion, and the color is just right to match the door hardware.

Got it today and installed for stopping that door 🚪 I need not topen as much as it does. Very satisfied with my purchase.

They work well easy to put in my puppy chewed the rubber off one 2 days after I installed it.

These are very strong, but I did NOT use the supplied plastic anchors supplied with the screws supplied. At our Creamery we get A LOT of wind at the front of the store, and 5 weeks ago our door's glass was shattered into pieces (designed that way, breaking in non-cutting pieces). I tried a design but they only lasted a couple of days, even though I put 2 "stops" down instead of 1, because the single 1/4" lag-bolt just could not handle the "banging" that the heavy glass door and wind provided. I also used concrete screws without the variable of the plastic anchor (the more the variables the decrease in quality and strength), I used 1/4" TAPCON screws, but I had to open up the 3 holes in each door-stop too, and that's all good, modifying it and making it better, i.e. And now the door hit's it hard but the 6 screws vs. the 2 screws (in 2 door stops) is SOLID! All I can say, is TaDa!!

Exactly what we needed

These little things were great! My front door swung open way too wide and it was driving me crazy. Found these, definitely measured the door space and plunked them down. Working amazing so far! Will update as to rust conditions of door stop and nails.
