Wow. Wasn't expecting that. So I bought these socks for mountain biking. Slipped them on when they arrived and OMG. I was instantly transported to a realm of podiatric comfort I had hitherto never known. These are literally the most comfortable, comforting things I have ever slipped my feet into. It's as though they are sculpted to your feet by angels whose only purpose in their eternal life is to make your feet feel loved, nourished, cared for and blessed. I kid you not. This is a genuine review. These socks are amazing. I never want to wear anything else on my feet ever again.**Update**Now properly field tested, I'm happy to report that one year on, these socks are still the best thing ever. Worn time and again for dog walking and mountain biking, they have withstood everything I've thrown at them. Having ridden while wearing them in some seriously boggy conditions, they actively wick any water away from your skin leaving them warm and dry. There have been times when fellow riders have been suffering quite badly with frozen extremities. I've been recommending these bad boys left right and centre.

I bought these socks specifically for a climb of Ben Nevis (31st Jan). Ascent time was 6 hours due to snow depth and just over 3 hours to get back down, total distance was around 9.5 miles.Never once did my feet feel cold, although they cooled slightly as we slowed down at around 3500 feet on the ascent and they always felt comfortable. My feet were also blister free.I would highly recommend these socks.

Bought these for my husband for the second time and he is beyond picky about his socks. He loves them because they fit so well and his feet can breath in them. He’s worn them with regular shoes, work boots and wellingtons and they don’t rub or slide about. These will be a firm favourite for as long as I can buy them.

I bought these for a hike up Snowdon and surrounding parts of Snowdonia, and I was very happy with them. Great value, and very comfortable. Only covered about 50M so far, but they're not showing any signs of fraying yet. They dry fairly quickly, and they kept my feet very warm when they weren't wet. Would definitely recommend these. For size reference, I bought the 6-9, as a size 8.5, and they were just right.

Bought a three pack. I liked the quality feel of these socks until I put them on.I've got pretty standard ankles / calves, these socks are superbly comfortable in every way except for one important area, the top is doubled over and has quite powerful elastic, so they literally cut the blood off leaving dents in my legs after wearing.After a few days of suffering, I gave in and took a pair of scissors and removed the top 10mm, the doubled over bit, now they are a comfy all day sock.On another issue, one pairs stitching sprung a hole in the heal from day one.For the price I expected more.Bottom line: nice material and comfortable when modified!

I am sorry to only give 4 stars, but as they were a gift I could not say anything about quality or fit.I will however say, they arrived on stated date and overall the packaging was excellent. As I was buying them as part of gift for my son (who lives in Sweden) and I will not know how they were received, until he opens them.I bought them having read previous reviews, which were excellent and highly recommended.

Good quality comfortable walking socks. I bought the XL (size 9-11.5) and they fit my size 10 feet perfectly. They feel quite soft to the touch and with sufficient padding in the right places to protect the feet well whilst walking. Not yet had a chance to use them in warmer weather or for walks of more than about 5 miles but at February temperatures in the UK they have been fine.

Liked the colours and the padding is on all the right places. Elsewhere it seems to be thinner, allowing your feet to breath. No nasty seams to dig into toes or heels. Not yet tested their durability but the appear well made. Will report back after doing the West Highland Way in June as to their anti blister claim too. All boxes ticked so far though!
