I needed this tip for my Weller WE 1010 soldering Station / WEP 70 Soldering Iron.I bought this from direct Amazon itself and not a 3rd party and this IS 100% the genuine item as it came in a small branded Weller sealed plastic bag.I would always advise buying genuine items for anything, whether it be a soldering iron or otherwise, as I have had a couple of bad experiences with 3rd party spares, and for the sake of a few pounds it really isn't worth it.I have purchased 5 of these tips (all different shapes etc) and they will last for years and years if you treat then right... DO NOT file them for starters !Conclusion :This is a 5 star product all day long !

Overpriced, paying for the name of course!

For those who have seen reviews saying these are not genuine - tips come in sealed Weller branded packaging. Product is exactly as you would expect from Weller
