This video camera camcorder is a great product for the price you pay for it. The picture quality is very good during daylight and normal bright conditions. It has digital zoom and is recommended to keep distance greater that 1.5 m for making pictures or video clear. Some people think that it is cheaply built. But there are advantages to going towards an ultra-light camera. It is certainly easier to hold up in the air with your arms for longer periods of time than traditional cameras that have some weight to them.It has an external microphone to capture the noises when recording and can be heard very well when playing back. Overall, I recommend this product as it has the basic features for taking a high quality photos and recording movies!!

This is a completely unusable piece of equipment. Even with the stereo mic, there is a choppy, shuddering noise that is for some reason coming through the camera and affecting the audio. The image quality is basically VHS level. DO NOT BELIEVE THE REVIEWS ON HERE... I was swayed by them, but I'm realizing now that most must have been working for the company, if anything. Terrible, cheap product.

I purchased this as a gift for my incredibly difficult to shop for brother. I am so happy with it. For the price I expected something cheap and near disposable, but it's quite compact and sturdy. It fits into a pocket in it's padded case, (except the mic and lens hood) I had to take it out and ensure it works and all the pieces are there, so I'm not giving a bad gift lol. I was pleasantly surprise to find 2 charged batteries and a charger for when they need it. Instead of needing to charge before first use. I was a little sad I still need to purchase an SD card but this allows me to pick the memory size so I'm doing that next. I am very glad I opened it and read the instructions, I suppose I should I have read the description more carefully. Camera turns of when closed to save that battery life and looks pretty sharp.Once it was all set up it worked great! comfortable in my hand, (thanks to the adjustable hand strap) the mic is a perfect addition for the animations my brother is creating. Now I just need to get him a stand and it will be the perfect package! Great little camera for artistic and family use!!!

I bought this camera thinking that the picture quality would meet my needs, however, I was sadly mistaken. The quality is far from HD and the sound quality is terrible. I have better quality from my iPhone 7. I will say this though, I live in a skyrise and there is a lot of natural lighting. With that natural lighting the picture quality is better, but very debatable on whether or not it is HD. Nonetheless, I put it side by side with my iPhone 7 and the comparison was night and day. Just to make sure, I transferred both videos from my iPhone and the video camera (which both videos were in the same time and setting) to my 4KHD, 16 GB RAM laptop with an 8th generation i7 processor, just to put them on the same platform that I edit videos on, and my iPhone was WAY better. However, it is my error, thinking that this $119 camera would compare to a $600 dollar iPhone. So I returned this video camera and will use my iPhone for the time being. I have more than enough space to get away with just using my phone. You may be thinking, "Well why did you rate this as 3 stars?" Here's why.For my particular needs this is not sufficient. I am wanting to create good quality videos for IG and youtube and I need better picture than what this provides. However, if you are looking for something to record home videos (ie baby's first steps, birthday party, special moments, vacations) or if you have a child that is an aspiring youtuber or just wants to make cute videos, THIS IS FOR YOU. It is very easy to use and I think it has all necessary tools to at least record some decent videos. Honestly, speaking though, in this time, if you have an iPhone or even a Samsung/android, I would highly recommend just using your phone. Even if you don't have a lot of storage space, you can EASILY transfer videos from your phone to your laptop, then delete the video from your phone to save storage space.My takeaway:If you are looking for a quality HD camera, for whatever reason, do not buy this. You need to fork up a couple hundred dollars more for very good quality. If you aren't particular about the picture or sound quality, I'd recommend just using your phone, but if you MUST have a video camera, then this is satisfactory. Again, it is my fault for even thinking this camera could compete with my iPhone.

For the price I paid this was the product that had an add-on microphone, two batteries, a charger and a lens piece, and I added/bought two SD cards (64gb).Ease of use and setup - Very good and I especially like the lens piece so it can be set upright to stand by itself.Battery Life - Very good but of course varies according to video setting.Video - Quality is okay and has three modes.User's Manual - Adequate but incomplete.Recommendation - Take your time to setup the camera and test. Learning the buttons and how to negotiate the menu will take time.Biggest flaw - Deleting files. The "how to" is not described in the manual but is only possible by using the menu once in the picture/video play mode.

Once I opened it and read the instructions I knew I made a mistake. The instructions told me to back up pictures on a floppy disk or CD! Ouch. This is obviously a dated camera that is being marketed as something new. My guess is that they got a couple pallets of these really cheap and are trying to resell them as something current. I bought this specifically for streaming live on Facebook and such. The product description claimed to be able to live stream and use it for many different things. It does not work for that unless you prerecord and upload. Your current Iphone or Samsung would have a camera about 10 times higher in quality. I guess it would be a decent camera for recording but like I said, you would have better quality with your current phone. It is priced pretty cheap, though.
