GelPro Plush 20 by 36-Inch Anti Fatigue Kitchen Mat, Wicker, Oyster Grey

My husband and I are both disabled. We got these mats to protect us from injuries due to falls down our long tile hallway. they are expensive but worth the price. (they cost less on Amazon than going directly thru GelMat) People come over and comment about how nice it is to have cushioning in our house. I only wish they had full room rugs. Easy to clean, they slip a little when the dogs play chase the ball down the long hallway, but are an overall joy to own...

The kitchen mats I had were ruined when our home was hit by the May 20 tornado that destroyed most of my house and neighborhood in Moore OK. I cook a lot but being in a rental house till ours is rebuilt was difficult without my mats. I have had two back surgeries and standing for more than 30 minutes (+ or -) can be very painful without cushioning under my feet. This mat was a great price, pretty much the same price as on the GelPro website but I got free shipping on Amazon so I went with them. This mat has helped so much. I was very depressed not having my kitchen to cook in, my pots and pans, appliances, etc. and being in pain didn't make it any easier. My friends have helped with getting new things for my kitchen for when we move back into our house, which only made my desire to start cooking again even stronger, but I really needed a mat. This one is better than the ones I had and I can stand for a much longer time while I'm in the kitchen now. My husband is happy that I am cooking him REAL food, not take out, and that my attitude is more positive since I'm doing what I love. This mat has not only made it easier on my back when I'm cooking but made me happier than I have been since May 20th.

Curled up on sides, looks like crap

I have serious neck and back problems along with foot and knee issues. I really had my doubts that anything would help ease the strain while working in the kitchen. I must say this mat has offered some relief. Now don't get me wrong, it's not going to fully remove all of the pain I have from standing for long periods of time but it absolutely takes away some of the back and neck fatigue. I would say it helps my feet and knees the most. When I use this mat I have no problems with either my feet or knees associated with standing for long periods. My husband noticed an immediate difference in his knees also. I have not used the regular Gel-Pro mat so I can't give you a comparison. I have tested (just stepped on really) many of the other brands in stores but until this Plush mat came along I would not purchase one because even at the lower prices I did not think they would be of of any value to me. I would most definitely purchase this mat again.

I've owned a smaller (20x36) GelPro original mat for many years, and it is every bit as good as advertised. It really does make it easier to stand on my hard kitchen floor for a long time. This new Plush mat is even better; it's thicker, with an additional foam layer under the Gel. I keep the original in front of my sink, this new one sits in front of my island. The Oyster Grey Wicker looks terrific with my whitewashed "wood" tile and the soft black island cabinets.I scored a great deal on a used version from Amazon Warehouse, paying just $76. Prime took care of the shipping. There are absolutely no blemishes on the mat. I really can't say enough good things about my new mat or Amazon Warehouse. Just get one, used if you can. You won't regret it.

This mat is a great size - the dimensions are perfect for the kitchen space. Very comfortable to stand on, even for long projects.

We recently had our old vinyl flooring pulled up in the kitchen and ceramic tile put in its place. We needed something soft to stand on in front of the stove. This is easy on the legs/feet, looks good and is easy to clean. Sturdy and doesn't slide away.

My GelPro Anti-fatigue mats are not only cushy,but they look great with my decor.Finding the right color to match my kitchen did,however,require a trip to a store which did not carry either the plush nor the color I needed,but did have samples so that I was able to make an informed decision.

I wanted a gel mat that would blend well with my Brazilian cherry floor in the kitchen, and this one is perfect. Very nice cushioning, easy to maintain and it looks fantastic! Highly recommended.

I wish I had the GelPro mat when I was standing in my kitchen for 9 hours preparing Christmas Dinner.

Pricey but oh so worth it!
