Very bright high beam. Very pleasant low low beam. The beam is very well defined and even. Wider than an over focused flashlight - often times wide is better. The color is slightly bluish. The clear body (in this one) has the advantage of giving a nice amount of light at a very wide dispersion - which is why I also got the clear body version. I have never ran the battery down, but have used it for hours between charges.Now this next comment is entirely unrealistic for you to expect from this light because I performed this test in perfect conditions. I mean perfect. It is extremely unlikely you will ever witness this. On an extremely dark, calm and clear night with nearly no humidity; whereas the viewer has vision adjusted for night time; and there are NO other lights in the viewer's field of view; it is visible for ten miles across a valley - mountain top to valley floor. The high beam was described by the viewer as being as bright as Mars when near opposition. The low beam was only visible when the viewer knew precisely where to look in advance. But don't expect to rely on this light to that extent.Bottom line, I love it!

I have been using keychain lights for years and have been waiting for something like this it is absolutely the best keychain light ever made. Has tiny blue LED when it's being charged and turns off when it's complete. Very durable the clear case one is awesome. 2 level brightness but I always go to full brightness definitely lights up your living room. LEDs and lithium batteries have come a long way in the last 10 years & 6the future looks bright!

Bright for small light. The charge didn't last long. I have to charge it after about an hr use.... I'm estimating I haven't timed it. But I love how easy it is to charge. The only thing I would change is to add a clip.

I ordered this light early January 2018. It quit charging a few days ago as evidenced by the charging LED not going out after charging all night and the light not turning on so I researched the warranty on the Nitecore web page and it is within the warranty period. I sent them an email explaining the problem and got this response:1.Check to make sure the light is not in lock mode. That has nothing to do with it not charging2, send a video of the problem. ????? What?Do I send a.video of the light (not) charging overnight?3. Contact the seller for help.Ok, I contacted Amazon who simply tells me the item is outside of the return period.Do you see where this is going?If this gets resolved I will update my review accordingly.

I very much liked the compact size, multiple modes, and micro USB recharging. It’s rugged and has a locked out feature to prevent accidental ignition.

Just what i needed, a keylight i can charge... stays on my key chain gets thrown around and beat up but still works👍🏼Update a couple weeks the light stopped charging. Blue light still lights up when i plug it in but no lightup from led... to cheap to return or give a care. Dont buy.

I would not buy again. 1. Not very bright, after a full recharge it would only be bright enough to put a key into a lock. 2. The on/off switch is of poor quality and doesn't work very well. The light does work and is very small and unobtrusive on the key ring and it came with a charger cable that works. For that, I gave it two stars.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I ride a motorcycle and sometimes at night I can't really see the keyhole, with this light attached to my keychain, I can see everything clearly. It's super BRIGHT and you can recharge it. I use my cellphone micro usb to charge my light. Buy it! I bought some for my friends during the holidays and they loved it!Multiple light modes, low light, bright light, it also has a setting where you go from low light and it slowly starts to get brighter and you let go of the button to stop at the current brightness you have it on, (Just in case you wanted a certain brightness instead of full blast bright light.
