Tilt joint gets stuck in upwards position

The other review on this product complaining that your monitor will get stuck facing the ceiling is absolutely correct and extremely common place. You can find multiple users experiencing the same thing on reddit and Youtube.I contacted support and bought the replacement part for this two times -- they both had the same problem of getting stuck in the upwards position, even with the tension screw completely removed.Do NOT buy this product -- it simply does not work.

Why the monitor screen is facing up and I can't adjust it?

I got this brand new M8.1 from my company. During installation everything worked well until I mounted the monitor and found the monitor was facing up and I couldn't get it face towards me. See the picture.Did I receive a bad product, or anybody can tell me how I can adjust the plate to face front?
