This unit seems sturdy and well built. Upon removal from the box saw minor blemishes on corner of unit. After putting wheels on and filling water tank, it takes a lot of water, plugged unit in and turn fan on. Tried to turn pump on but got nothing. Removed control cover and had to recrimped the connector to wire and plug connector to the switch. Works well now and has cooled down the garage enough where I can work in my garage. It’s not cold but cool enough to spend time in garage. To be fair I live in the Vegas area and it was 110 today. Uses a lot of water

This has made my little shop a whole lot more pleasant during hot summer days. The air that comes out of this cooler is about 20 degrees cooler ( but that will depend on the humidity of where you live ). The cooler is a bit on the pricey side but it is well made and so far ( used it for only a few months ) appears to work very well. I like the fact that it takes a garden hose connector, so there is no need to keep on refilling the reservoir with water, just turn on the hose and you're set

Bought this unit for my husband to use in his automotive shop which has a large overhead, south facing door. He follows the instructions and the indoor temps remain at least 20 degrees cooler than outside allowing him to work comfortably in the afternoon. It does use a lot of water but well worth it to keep his environment comfortable as he works.

Buy from a different manufacturer. OEM does not honor their warranty.

This cooler definitely did not meet my expectations. When it arrived, the box was very beat up. Once I got it out of the box, there was very little protective packing, and what was there was broken.I immediately noticed problems when I tried to assemble it. Screws were missing and the filter media was damaged and chunks were laying in the water tank area. The unit was out of square, and supports would not stay in place. Closer inspection revealed that the inner support structure was broken. My shop is really hot, and I wanted this to work so I repaired it to the best of my ability and soldiered on.Once I had it together, the unit did function. Just running it in the shop though, provided very little change in temperature but did add noticeable humidity. I tried placing it in a doorway as per the directions, but this made no difference in performance.The unit is totally plastic and not very sturdy. It’s overall feel is very cheap and doesn’t seem like it would be durable long term. I expected much more at this price point. If it had been $75-100, I might have tried to keep it, but in the end I had to return it.I do not recommend this unit.

I live in AZ and this is highly effective although requires good ventilation if used indoor or it will increase the humidity greatly. I have to fill via the front pull down opening rather than the back hose connect. The hose connection started spraying water everywhere a few months after use.

This thing works GREAT! Takes humidity out of the airIt gets the garaged cooled downs so the workers can work comfortably

Too expensive for the quantity of air that it cools.

This unit is amazing. Keeps the entire townhome cool enough including the upper floor. It sits on the main floor. Way better than the two previous standard AC units. Way worth the price.
